After a morning of strolling through the stores, this is a great place to enjoy a cup of coffee/tea and have a snack...the turnovers are great.

Looking for a sweet treat? This place has great blueberry donuts, apple fritter bites, and the awesome "heavenly delights". A great selection of specialty breads too. The sourdough bread is authentic and delicious. A cute little stop while walking the streets of San Juan.

Just happened by this quaint little bakery. Went inside and tried their blueberry doughnut...Oh my very yummy. We also bought some cookies ...which turned out to be good. Cannot wait to go there again.

The bakery is one of the oldest commercial buildings in town and for many as big a local landmark as Mission San Juan Bautista. The current owners have revived the recipes that made the bakery famous -- from the days when Ansel Adams would drive in from Carmel every week to buy his favorite bread. Personal favorite? Blueberry doughnuts served... More

We popped in to take a peak because it was very appealing. Our purchase of an apple turnover and a few (ah hem) magic bars was delicious. They also offered other pastries and breads that were equally as tempting. If you take the main drag on to see the Mission at San Juan Batista, you'll miss the small block of... More

This plae is it! My friend suggested to visit after the mission. I was so curious since her aunt make it a point to stop here on the way home to Fresno from Carmel. Voila! I was not disappointed. If bread is vitamin I would have bought all of their baked goods that day. The place is squeaky clean and... More

Great local bakey with lots of pastries, homemade doughnuts, and a variety of sweet and savory breads. We loved the heaven bites- filled doughnut holes!

We went to San Juan Bakery. The outside was decorated for the Christmas holiday season. We purchased some peanut butter cookies. We also purchased an ice tea. Service was good. The bakery is located on 3rd street, which is the main shopping and dining street in San Juan Bautista.

I love almond poppy seed muffins but they are difficult to find. This bakery had almond poppy seed bread! It was delicious!
