We had a great dinner here celebrating our anniversary, the only reason I didn't give them an excellent rating is because we were seated right by the kitchen and it was too noisy.

The restaurant was recommended to us, as we're from NY. Jennifer was out of this world! She was friendly, nice, a fantastic waitress. Mortons was smart to hire her! Now for the management team...here's another asset to the restaurant; Robert was extremely curteous and helpful. He went out of his way to offer suggestions and advice while visiting the area.... Morton's takes a picture at the dinner table and gives it to you so that was kinda special! The food was good but I wasn't impressed with steaks for the price! It was $300.00 for the three of us with one drink.

My husband is an Executive Chef so I am very picky. We were not disappointed. And an anniversary souffle was a nice gift from the staff. Quiet, great food, educated staff on menu selections. Nice special beside the regular menu. I had the braised short ribs and Grand Marnier Souffle-the rest is a blur!

My fiance had been wanting a fancy steak dinner for his birthday for a few years. It hadn't happened for one reason or another, but for his birthday last year, I was determined to make it happen. I made reservations at Morton's on his birthday and told them what we would be celebrating. When we arrived, we were led to... More

I've only been here for drinks but I truly enjoyed myself. Visited with a group of friends and we had a blast. The bartenders are everything you what them to be. Part therapist, part comedian, expert drink maker

We have been meeting friends here for special occasions for years. After a few years' absence, we were very upset at the poor service. Waited nearly 10 minutes in a very noisy setting and had not even been served water. I asked a passing busboy for water, and he said, "You have no glasses". Instead of getting us water glasses... Morton's is know for great steak, and it was very good again. Great service, great wine a bit pricy though...

You must reserve if you want a table unless it's late at night (9:30pm and after). The steaks are great and very good service. Well worth your money. If you are going to order appetizers, share them so you can enjoy all of your entree.

Food just average, and expensive at relations cost/benefit. Severs not too kind. Atmosphere quite fancy, however the carpet has a strong smell. I would choose other better restaurants in San José.
