This restaurant and bar is very pleasant in Mission-style decor. Entrees, salmon and filet, were excellent. Margaritas were top-rank. Also, a very good happy hour.

This restaurant has been making consistently very good and creative food over the years. There menu has a good range to chose from. It has delightful salads, to yummy sandwiches, to very good Californian main plates. The different dishes are presented it a nice and straight forward manner. The restaurant has pleasant outdoor seating with a view of the square,... More

Been here before for lunch. Good appetizers and drinks. Entrees were less than average. I had a linguini with tofu dish. The pasta was cooked beyond soggy. The rest of the party's entrees were just ok. Don't think I'll be coming back here anytime soon. There are many other better restaurants in Santana Row.

We were looking for a breakfast spot at Santana to entertain another family with kids. The Village CA Bistro is one of two restaurants serving (late) breakfast. We were pleasantly surprised with the food and service. We ordered the Eggs Bruschetta, eggs benedict, and 3 egg scramble. All were very good! Village opens at 10 (weekdays), the only other restaurant... More

We were very hungry and stumbled on to this nice restaurant on Santana Row. It has a warm atmosphere due to the lighting and decor. We ordered from the prix fixe menu. I had the roasted half-chicken and my spouse had a kimchi seafood stew. The chicken was succulent and had a sauce under it that was delicious. His seafood... More

Nice place but he food and service was not good. Had mussels that were undercooked, a glass of wine that contained a tablespoon of sediment. Had the Cubano Pork and it was like eating boiled pork that was shaped into a square and dabbed with a tiny amount of sauce. We will definitely not go back there.

My wife and I were visiting Santana Row recently and stopped into this restaurant after perusing the menu. The decor and atmosphere of restaurant was very nice. Food We started out with complimentary sourdough bread and and order of their calamari. The calamari was cooked perfectly. They added Shishito peppers to the dish which could have been left off. The... More

Three of us dined. The other two meals were ok (but VERY EXPENSIVE) for lunch. I ordered the Caesar salad. When the dish alleged to be a Caesar salad arrived it was pathetic (see picture). When I complained they took it to the kitchen, added 2 more leaves (I counted), and put it on a bigger plate to pretend it... More

We were looking for a restaurant in Santana Row with small plates as we did not want a huge meal. This fit the bill. Had an excellent apple flatbread (unfortunately, they were out of the burrata, which was our first choice). I had the mini-Wellingtons, which were very enjoyable, if a bit bland. My daughter had the pumpkin soup which... More

We go to this place for a light meal and a drink at Happy Hours. They have it every day 4:00 to 6:00pm, which is quite unusual, most places don't have Happy Hours on weekends. The menus is not very big, but everything is soooo tasty, delicious beef Wellington, Burrata cheese is great, flat bread with apples and smoked chicken,... More
