We are here on business for my husband . We drive around looking for something close to the hotel. There is always fresh fish of the day..we all ate a pick two .$18.+...good deal. I ordered a mahi mahi and scallops. Very good! I also order ceviche as an appetizer. It was good, but didn't have that ceviche tang I... More

A wonderful place for lunch with my sister-in-law. Every bite a ten. Shrimp wrapped in bacon, scallops with prosciutto, roasted vegetables, scalloped potatoes, salad. YUM. And the service was great. Love this place.

The service was lousy, let me say that, right off the bat. We had reservations, but still had to wait, even though there were lots of empty tables. I think we had a newly-hired waiter. Regardless, the food was terrific! I had the Lobster Tail with scalloped potatoes and coleslaw. ( I originally was brought French fries instead of the... More

Whenever my bf and I are in the whereabouts of San Jose, we dine at The Fish Market and order oyster shots. The oysters are served in a shot glass in cocktail sauce and topped with fresh horseradish. It is absolutely delicious and savory. Our favorites are also the Panko style calamari steak, the fresh Californian sable fish (butterfish) and... More

Came here for a business lunch. Service was perfect. Our server had recommendations and comments about anything we wanted to know. I went with the smoked albacore. This isn't an entree, but was perfect for a lighter lunch. Locally smoked tuna, cheese, crostini. What else do you need? The people I was with eat here regularly and praise everything on... More

Love The Fish Market. Try the chowder, sashimi, cioppino or any of the fresh fish (trout, swordfish & blacked catfish a few favorites). Table service is great, but if you want to watch the game, sit at the bar. Wine list is good - they have Rombauer Chardonnay!

My wife and I went to The Fish Market for dinner on Valentine's Day. Overall the meal was good and the service was great. The reason for 3 stars was the lobster bisque was luke warm. Besides that, the swordfish was fantastic and the large cioppino was more than the average person can eat. I'd definitely go back here.

If you're looking for seafood, any seafood, you'll find it at the Fish Market. We went there specifically for King crab, but we were tempted to try some other dishes. The service was excellent.

Very nice atmosphere - old fisherman like on coast or fishing port pier, service excellent, must make reservation, the variety of menu items is extensive with other options outside of the seafoods, waiter was in a hurry to turn the table, food presentation and quantity were good, lots of good sour dough bread, very noisy.
