Little has changed since Golden Buddha restaurant opened over 30 years ago.... the original owners can still be seen in and around the restaurant helping out. The interior decor seems to be similar and the food has changed little. This visit we ordered the Wor...Wonton Soup (pork, chicken, shrimp and veggies) and Beef Black Bean Chow Fun. I remember the Golden Buddhah opening on Aborn and White back in the 1980's. Along with the now closed Silver Dragon, that was located down the street on Aborn and Capitol Expressway, the GB, featured some of the best Chinese food you could taste. The...cashier/manager is the same man who's been there for years. The decor is the same and the food quality is the same. Very good. My sweetie and I ate there in December and ran into an old friend from school. If you grew up in this neighborhood, it's not uncommon to still run into old friends because we all know of the great food served here.More
I returned to this restaurant after a long absent. Found that unlike the earlier visit the food quality and taste had gone back to its original standard--very good. The soup, Mongolian beef, chow mien and shrimp dishes were all great. I did not cre for...the vegetable egg-roll but others did.More
Been going here for a very long time and the food has always been the same great tasting and nice portions. We especially love the Hong Kong chow neon, it it the reason we go there but we also enjoy the salt and pepper ribs
If you love family style dining this is a place you don't want to miss. You can bet you won't find mediocre Chinese food here. This resturaunt is worth every bit of there pricey menu. There is not one single dish that was not short...of Yum. I recommend the salt and pepper spare ribs that are absolutely crunchy and flavorful. They also have dim sum if you are into that eating style. Great food and upscale quality .More
Located in a strip mall so there's limited parking. Servers speak broken English but understand pretty well. Food was very tasty and pricing was acceptable (maybe a tad bit expensive..but not outrageous). Quantity of food was pretty much the same as any other Chinese restaurant....Decor was very typical Chinese and tables were pretty close together. No baby changing station in the (men's) restroom. Don't know about the women's restroom. Service was nothing special.More
First time visit. The chow mien was fair. The noodles were the fat type not the thin that most Chinese restaurant serve. The pork fried rice was dry and the lemon chicken sauce could be more lemon flavor. The Mongolian beef was the only thing...in my meal I rate good.More

This is not your typical Chinese restaurant. The food is very good and the portions are outstanding. One dish per person with sharing is more than enough. The tomato beef chow mien is the best. The war wonton soup is excellent. You may have to...wait, but it is worth it.More
