I've never had Burmese cuisine and didn't know what I have been missing. We will be going back and back. The intense and yet subtle flavors will bring a smile to your face as your palate thanks you. The green tea salad is a must and the goat stew was one of my favorite. We also had two very different... More

I tasted things here I had never had before. Mostly they were very good. The tea leaf salad was unique and I liked it. They served our large table a great variety of foods, including goat, and all were appreciated. The prices were reasonable and I would go back.

One of the few burmese options in south bay. Really like their tea leaf salad, Fried Tofu, Yam leaf and Mushrooms as well as noodles with vegetables (Kauk Swe Thoke). Good vegetarian choices. All the food is quite flavorful and fresh. I like the fact that they mix the salad on your table. Portion size is OK. Service is quick.

Wow, what a treat. We ended up at this restaurant by accident. Didn't even know there was a Burmese restaurant in the area. In reality, the very first Burmese restaurant I've ever been to. Staff was super friendly. Food was absolute delicious! The goat stew was the best I've ever had, the chicken stew was also delicious (but it's more... More

Of course you need to have the tea leaf salad. It is their signature dish. The goat stew is also very good. Asides from that, I am still searching for my third favorite. We tried a fish dish and a noodle that were just ok.

When I found out about this place, I has no idea it had even existed. Decided to come and try this restaurant out with my family and was slightly disappointed. Tea Leaf Salad (2): It was heavily salted and acidic, couldn't even taste the tea leaf Beef Stew (3): It was tasty, but not very special, although the prata served... More

After numerous friends told me about this place I decided to check it out. It's a little hidden but tucked on the side strip with several other very good restaurants. Having had the tea leaf salad at Burma Super Star I thought I'd try theirs out. WOW! Super tasty with so many unique flavors - pickled Burmese tea leaves, fried... More

good food, you will not be stuffed afterwards but I think this is much better than over eating! the food is traditional, no fancy serving, just the way it would look at home. I did the dish with okra which was good. Quite cheap, about 20$ per person.

We just thought to try out this restaurant and ordered a chicken biryani , chicken curry and prata . The quantity you get is very minimum for the price u pay. This is Not a place to feed your hunger . Because after spending $30 , u might still want more . Am saying that is only for one person... More

I have never had a bad meal here. My husband and I come in regularly and tonight is the first in awhile where we had leftovers coming home with us. We try something new every chance we get. The yellow veggie curry was superb tonight, as was the country style fish and our favorite mustard leaves. Next time we are... More
