When I walked up I noticed how small it was and that there were reserved signs at the sushi bar. Must be pretty good? It was awesome. Very fresh. Very well made. Banzai roll was the best I've had! Great dining experience.

I have been coming here for 10 years. Here are my favorites: 1. chirashi - the sushi rice tastes great and the fish is fresh 2. spicy tuna roll - only if you like spicy food (always have a glass of iced water handy) 3. udon - soup base and noodle are superb 4. nasu dengaku - miso tastes good... I love going to places like this but this one was just a disaster because we had to wait so long because we had no reservation but they weren't even packed and didn't have a lot of people inside. Then the guy cooking our food even though he repeated it to us before making it still made my plate wrong... More

The restaurant is very small inside so small parties are best. We also didn't linger too long after dinner as there was a line forming for people to sit. Great sushi! We asked the Hotel a place they would recommend for sushi and this is where they sent us. It's nestled between other sushi restaurants so easy to miss.

I was here for lunch. They have special lunch menu of good value. The food is quite good. Service is professional and friendly. It is like a family Japanese restaurant, medium size by Japanese standard. We are quite happy with what we got. Will come back when I have a craving for Family style Japanese food.

This place serves high quality food, tasty and very fresh and clean. But don't expect anything fancy, small place, small tables and everything is very tight. I would come back for more!

Food was very good and tasty. Felt like I was back in Japan. Would definitely recommend. It is a small place so a party larger than 4 would be a problem.

It used to be one of my favorite Sushi in San Jose. I took three rolls: Rock'n Roll, spicy tuna and the California. They were very average this time!

At 6:30 pm on a Tuesday, the restaurant was very bus and crowded, but we managed to get seats at the bar. Other patrons seemed to have a good time. Service was friendly, but kitchen was a bit slow. Extensive menu of Japanese favorites. We ordered bento boxes ($14--$18) with different contents. Sashimi, sushi and salad were average. Tempura was... More

As a visitor of San Jose, my friends invited me to one of their favorites restaurants of Japanese food, we were the first to arrive at 11:30 A.M. And few minutes after the restaurant was full, most of The clientele were Japanese, that was a good sign, the food was excellent, I had a wonderful calpico, keep in mind that... More
