When it comes to breakfast we do it right – in a fun atmosphere and we're all about serving real food. We prepare everything from scratch! We squeeze our own oranges, make our own pancake batter, and whip our own butter. We cook with trans-fat free oils and purchase only the best coffee. Whenever possible, we buy from local vendors. Whether you want a gluten-free vegetarian breakfast or just really good bacon and eggs, Scrambl'z is your place.

Great food, great service

Super fast breakfast

The service was great. The food was brought out super fast. We had the California Scramble and the Bacon Cheddar Spuds for breakfast. They have a Wide variety of sides including Banana Nutella Crepes.

Do not order takeout

I ordered a waffle, bacon, sausage and coffee through Doordash. I got a rubber egg, raw, frozen hashbrowns covered with gross cheese, and a gooey waffle. What a rip off! Do not order throught doordash, in the restaurant you can send back the food.

It was great food! Quick and good service! There was no wait for us at 9 am. It is a little pricey though, but it was very tasty.

Good food and friendly atmosphere

This is a great place to enjoy your meal and the people you are with. Homey, relaxing atmosphere. Food is expensive but very tasty. Lots of choices so everybody can get something they like. Good service. Bring your appetite because portions are generous.

Good quality food and service

My only criticism of this place is the portion size - too LARGE! The menu is very varied but unless you order only a side, there's just too much food for a normal appetite. The waiter suggested sharing a meal but that only works if you both want the same thing. I prefer their breakfast menu which offers a whole range of traditional items, some funky updates and a great selection of sides. Decor is very cheerful.

Egg Benedict with chicken was over cooked. Difficult to cut the chicken. Grits were cold and cheese sprinkled on top couldn’t melt. Link sausage had sat for awhile and was over cooked, see pic. The prices on the menu listed here on Trip Advisor are not correct. The current prices are much higher. Coffee and drinks are $3.79 + tax each. Entree prices are also much higher. We will not go back.

Disappointing

We tried Scrambl'z for the first time today. Cute atmosphere, friendly people. Slow service, bland food. Hash browns had no flavor. Avocado eggs Benedict cold and taste less. We were hoping it would be good but it wasn't. Probably will not go back.

Great breakfast

Popped in here before we visited Winchester house. The staff are very friendly and the food is GOOD! Great American vibe about this place. I had the house hash with biscuits and gravy which was immense, the wife had the soft tacos with fruit which she also loved. The orange made from freshly squeezed oranges was very tasty and all at a good price too.

I was trying to make my mind up where we should go for breakfast and this one looked super good. It was our first time here and the waitress was very helpful. They have a lot of choices and a lot of sides like 20 different ones. I have the chicken fried steak country potatoes and bread pudding French toast the bread pudding French toast was to die for. Chicken fried steak was really good and so was the potatoes. My husband had the eggs benedict and the chocolate chip pancakes. We're not from the area but we would definitely come back and would recommend this place. With tax tip two drinks that's coffee and milk and two entrees we got out for 48. I really like the place it has alot of character.

Entertaining family atmosphere, great brunch spot

If you're looking for a fun place to have brunch with the family, Scrambl'z is the place. The food is delicious, service is fast and the decor is cute. I think they have a large pot of ganache to serve on the double chocolate pancakes and crepes, which are out of this world! And don't miss the mimosa - it's huge!

Enjoy a meal while your car is being washed nearby

The car wash had an offer. Eat breakfast here and get $5.oo off the hand wash special. Glad I came here for the sausage omelet filled me up with delicious food.

Good vibe family breakfast

OVERALL: Popular breakfast and brunch spot, filled with families of all ages, with a large menu of eggs-based items. Playful, Route 66 decor dining space. SERVICE: Staff is attentive and cheery AMBIANCE: Mix of road side dinner, licenses plates/ hub caps on the wall, and a 60s Volkswagen bus with a 4 person booth FOOD: Solid Italian sausage omelette and crispy hashbrowns. Next time will tryout the waffles, pancakes, and homemade strawberries or bananas and creme cup. TIPS & TRICKS @ Avoid standards eating hours as this place will have a line

Review is for Scrambl'z Almaden Expy: Location: Small shopping center on high-traffic expressway, fair parking options. Atmosphere: Quirky but fun decorations, old-diner feel. Brunch Hour: Expect line & decent wait during peak weekend brunch hours. Visited at 11:00/Saturday morning, brief 10min. wait for table of two. Food: Good range of brunch options, especially the range of Sides options. Note: Dishes may be bit pricey for breakfast (Scramble starting at $13.99), but portions are large and price is reasonable if you make the most of your sides option. Service: Friendly & attentive wait staff, fast service, pleasant brunch experience.
