My friend who loves dumplings wanted to try this restaurant after dining at Hui You Xiang, which is next-door (both are in the same strip mall). The dumplings are good, but they are wrapped in the thicker noodle than most dumpling houses. We tried 4...different dumplings--3 steamed and one fried, and the beef noodle soup. The steamed dumplings were good, the pan fried was just OK. The beef noodle soup was excellent. The four of us all felt that Hui You Xiang makes better dumplings, and they cost less. NOTE: One One is cash only.More

Food is consistently good, however, you need to be there early. Lunch and dinners sell out quickly and once it is sold out they don't make any more. For Lunch, your best bet is to be there around 11:30 a.m. and for dinner you need...to be there by 5:30 p.m.More

A small establishment with limited tables but very well decorated dining room. They have a small menu but very authentic. Their specialty is dumplings and noodles, and they do a very good job at it. The noodles are fresh and dumplings are very well prepared....The cold pork knuckle appetizer was very pleasing. Overall, an authentic and specialty worth to be home made type food. A must try if you like dumplings and noodles.More

Tasty tasty. I'm sure you'll be highly satisfied with everything you order. The dumplings are delicious and freshly made. Although there is a problem, they are not open enough hours and they need more space for customers.

Apparently this locations ownership split from the original location from Monrovia. Takes local Taiwanese food available to us. They bring over the light soup broth instead of the heavy dark broth we are used to. In Taipei, there are 2 types of beef noodles, dark...heavy broth and light and clear broth. Good job for making the latter available to us instead of the typical dark heavy broth.More

best dumplings ever!! I just wish they didn't run out early every evening. Servers are great too. We love their own fried pork dumpling, bok Choy, and shrimp dumpling.

They make their own dumplings and boy are they good. Almost across the street from the famous Golden Deli, this little place is full at lunch time. So many good restaurants around here but this is one of the best.

So many places in San Gabriel have great places to enjoy a great dumpling. If you happened to pass by this place in the area and have an hour take the time and give your taste buds a mini vacay!

Pork Soup Dumplings like your Chinese Grandma used to make are the top pick at this teeny-tiny little storefront eatery. More like your workday lunchroom than the more upscale Din Tai Fung, but authentic flavors are certainly there.Serve is quick and friendly, and little kids...and babies are especially welcome. Great alternative for families on a budget. Don't miss the bok choy!More

I read about this before we went otherwise I might not have noticed it. We saw another couple outside writing on a slip of paper and they told us to go in and get a slip. You fill out an order form before you're seated,...unless you get right in. This couple told us their favorites and we're glad they did. We spent about 13 dollars for the best dumplings and noodles we've ever had and we had another meal leftover, good thing we had a frig and microwave in our hotel room. We had what the couple called chinese spaghetti and meat, which is ground beef and mushrooms with the best noodles and flavors ever. The soup dumplings are addictive and the bok choy wonderful. We were so impressed we went back another night. We were told that the corner has at least 4 great places and Phoenix for egg tarts you can walk over for dessert if you have room. Nothing like meeting local people for recommendations.More
