Ramen used to be an instant meal to be had right out of the pot, during finals or late night cravings, but not anymore. Benten turns Ramen prep into a high art form. I believe they spend a lot of time on the broth, bc...it is so rich with authentic flavors of pork and just the right amount of sauces. The noodles are always perfectly cooked. The presentation is impeccable with just the right amount of whatever extra condiments you'd like from corn to burdock root, to extra pork belly. Extra noodles are $1.50 and the staff is so down to earth and friendly but also great at making sure you have all that you need. I frequent this place quite often and throughout the year they add new delicacies to the menu. So it's just not Ramen but a slew of other Japanese dishes, squid balls, seasoned tofu, kurobata sausage and potato salad. You won't be disappointed.More

Have been here a few times and it is wonderful. Park on the streets. It is small so make sure you have time to wait unless you take it to go. Spicy miso ramen is fabulous and there are many add in options at a...reasonable price!More

Their ramen is so good! Everything we've had there including their side dishes rock! Daikon salad -addicting. Chicken karage everyone's favorite! Free tea the best! Free rice even better. Try it you won't be disappointed. Warning their spicy miso us super spicy. I ask for...mild and then add my own spices.More

One of the best ramen places in the San Gabriel Valley. It offers four types of ramen, a variety of appetizers and free iced tea. My favorite is the tsukemen with a rich and flavorful dipping sauce. The prices are very reasonable. The staff is...helpful and friendly.More

My wife and I tried this place out last Saturday and it was great. We started off with the tasty potato salad and karaage chicken. I had the tonkatsu ramen which had a nice thick flavorful broth while my wife had the Tsukemen ramen which...was also good. The free ice green and roobios tea was a nice touch. The place is small and doesn't have a lot of ambiance but, the good food and great service make up for it. Our servers were very friendly and attentive. Made for a pleasant quick bite.More

they make a fierce ramen. I like their thick noodles. Spicy miso is really really good. I order mild because I can always make it spicier. I tried the medium hot and could barely eat it, They also give free tea. Their daikon salad is...really yummy. We order it every time. They also offer a fried chicken appetizer with a spicy aioli dip. They give free rice per entree which is great too! Best thing is on top of this good food they give you a loyalty card that they stamp for each ramen ordered and you can receive a free ramen in the future.More

You have four choices of ramen and that's good enough for me. The spicy ramen minus the cabbage is what I got. Good serving for the price. Ordered some appetizers, potato salad is a winner. The Takoyaki is not that great, I had better ones....Service is fast & staff are friendly. Got there early so we didn't have to wait a lot.More

We were eager to try this ramen place given its reviews. We got here at 6:30 PM for a table for two. Waited about 20 minutes (outside in December = no fun) but made for tastier ramen. Plenty of parking. Good service. Absolutely delicious ramen....The homemade habanero chili pepper is a must try.More

Delicious Ramen, I've been to Benten Ramen twice now and I love their Ramen. The injected egg is truly amazing and a must addition. I also recommend ordering an extra helping of chashu belly because it is bomb!

To top it off thru off 2 free iced teas. They are...super nice and we no longer have to brave the lines of hakata ramen.More
