We've been coming here for years and now post covid the restaurant is in transition. Still love their kung pao dish and fried tofu. It is quite a distance from us but we would gladly take the drive to enjoy these dishes. The restaurant is...very clean and proper distancing is observed. Restaurant serves Asian fusion cuisine.More

2 years ago, I wrote a 5 star review of this place ("Fast service, generous portions, excellent flavor, diverse menu. Free hot and sour soup for lunch.") Now, the place seems past its prime. First off, the restaurant closes at 7:30 pm, which seems ridiculously...early. When arrived at 6:30 PM, the restaurant was completely full. But, they had run out of fresh fish and other specialties. What we ended up ordering was OK, but nothing spectacular, quite a let-down compared with 2 years ago.More

Tasty and delicious lobster dish that feeds the entire party. They also have some other amazing seafood dishes. Can’t forget the drinks to pair with it. This place is a total family and friends vibe. Can’t go wrong. The wait might just be a tad...bit long depending on when you go. So avoid weekend dinner time. You can however use Yelp to be wait listed while you are traveling to the location. Reservations cannot be made.More

My wife and I had New Years Eve dinner here and loved it! The wait for a table was about two hours, but we checked in online through Yelp, and spent some of that wait off site before checking in at the restaurant. I would...highly encourage you to do so. Many of the reviews mention the spicy lobster and the beef loc lac. We ordered both and they were indescribably good. The lobster is by the pound and our serving came out to $81 ($46 or so a pound). It was worth every cent. Service is fast and with few frills. The restaurant focused on getting people seated and served ASAP and everything was delivered to our table very quickly after ordering. I look forward to returning next year!More

Billy the boss is a Việt kiều. I ordered a Pacific geoduck cooked in Vietnamese style and King Crab 1/2 cooked with chilly and 1/2 steamed. One of the best I have eaten.

I've been driving by this place for 3 years now, and the line is ALWAYS out the door. With several people's recommendation, I decided to finally give it a try, and of course on Christmas Day. Luckily, I checked Yelp and they offer a waitlist,...so I was able ot get on the waitlist without leaving my house. I was 44th in line. We probably waited a total of 1.5hours but man, the parking lot and waiting area was a ZOO! We parked across the street so we didn't have to valet. Everyone kept telling me the lobster is amazing and low and behold, it certainly was. Cooked perfectly with a ton of flavor. And surprisingly not that expensive. I think it was $23/lb. Add the optional noodles for $10, totally worth it.More

I really loved the way the lobster was prepared. It tasted so good. I also ordered the Chinese broccoli with shrimp which I really enjoyed. Got to eat most of the dish myself. The service was excellent. My friend paid the check so I cannot...comment on the cost of everything we had.More

Waited a little bit with our group but the lobster, seafood, and vegetable dishes were ON POINT. Plus soup and service was excellent. Highly recommended.

The lobster we ordered weighed at 6.75 pounds. The taste was good but the four of us could not totally finished. I wish they have smaller portions for couples in future. It was delicious. The salted chicken and the clams that we ordered were very...good too. We got there at 5.45 pm to wait online on Sunday. We were lucky. The wait was not too long. The restaurant does not take reservations after 5 pm.More

Enjoyed dishes prepared by Newport Seafood Restaurant on Thursday at 5: PM. Even though we did not have reservations, the four of us were seated promptly. We ordered lobster, noodles, basil clams, fried tofu with dipping sauce, Chinese broccoli and garlic pea tips greens. Dishes...came to the table quickly and all piping hot. All were presented beautifully and tastes were outstanding.More

Think big lobster, big crab if you think you are coming here. They don’t mess up with the baby lobster like you normally see at a restaurant. The smallest size is above 4 lbs. we ordered the house style. It was too tasty. I regretted...getting that style. The powerful taste killed the fresh lobster’s natural sweetness. I really liked the basil clams. It was prepared perfectly. Go early. This place gets jam packed at 5 pm. The service was ok. They removed the plate with shells promptly. But don’t expect the Chinese waiter to smile at you.More

10 of us had a gourmet experience at this restaurant. Among the specials are king crab cold dishes, lobster with noodle base...all excellent. Services are good too. It is pricey compared to other Chinese seafood restaurant. But it is worth it.
