For an airport sushi place, this was definitely pretty freaking good! The sushi chef makes the sushi right there, and the beauty of it is that you can take both the food and drinks to go. Pricing was also not bad for the airport, at only $6.50/imported bottles. Good sushi, great service, and well priced!

Tomokazu is a small sit-down spot half way along the International G Gate departure arm.
Fresh, well prepared food. Unless you have access to United's Polaris Lounge, probably the tastiest light meal in the terminal.

Cramped space, great sushi and service, the pho was not very flavorful however. Seats are extremely hard to get in and out of, and I am a small person with a backpack (don't bother if you have luggage).

Located in the G gates in the international terminal at SFO,
You would not think you’d find such great ramen- pork and broth roasted for 5 hrs, good sushi and plus, pokeys and hichews to ho!

This is for the California roll that I got before I boarded our plane to HK. I didn't eat a lot for dinner and it's midnight, and the Cali roll hit the spot. It was okay Cali roll but when you don't have a lot of choices at the airport, this is a pretty decent choice.

the food remains tasty, a very good deal for the concourse, and healthy. Fast service and rich broth are quite welcome. The place is a little busy and not the most peaceful place to eat, and as with so many places in SF the food gets a bit over salted. But overall I think its still a solid bet for a good preflight meal. And they are fast.

Server is cold and most importantly d food are so average unless you rarely eat Japanese b4 then it is fine but if you are Asian stay away from this restaurant

There are tables to eat.

Not fancy, but I think this place is definitely the best for sushi in the airport. Been here several time.... seem to see the same crew working..... almost seems like a “mom and pop” sushi place....... good quality

I ate here on a layover the other day, food was average. When I got home and checked my credit card statement, the original charge that had gone through was refunded and a different charge of $10 more had been taken instead. They have no contact information, and I don’t really care about $10 but I’ve read other reviews of the same thing happening to others. Pay cash or check your credit statements.

Pretty good sushi especially for an airport location. Many of the rolls and such are made in advance for the lunch rush, but what I tried was surprisingly OK if not great. Several Japanese beers available. Service is good.

I ordered a chicken teriyaki to go and it must have taken them only 3-4 minutes to prepare and serve to me, and it was delicious. Oh, and good service too!!

We were wanting Japanese food at the airport before a long flight and this was perfect. I wasn't expecting the best chicken teriyaki or best soba noodles of my life but the food was nice and the 4 of us were happy with what we were served.
It was busy so high turnover. There are not a lot of food options in the area- Pho next door, Joe & the Juice further along and a Grill type place that looked like a bar.
Chicken teriyaki and chicken Katsu served with rice & two pieces of broccoli. Sushi rolls got thumbs up and soba noodle was pleasant. I skipped the sashimi as not going to risk eating raw fish before a 12 hour flight- that just wouldn't be pleasant for anyone!
*BTW ignore the signage as we took forever to find this place, it is terminal G even though information and signs had it elsewhere.
