Our favorite Filipino restaurant. The best kare-kare. All dishes are excellent. Reasonable prices. You have to go and experience the deliciousness of the their dishes.

Came for lunch with coworker's. Ordered pork sisig, fried fish with garlic rice, mixed veggi with shrimp paste, taro leaves in coconut milk, pancid. Definitely swift service. A bit on the salty side. Parking was easy. Friendly service. Appeared to be popular lunch place with locals.

Kuya's is located downtown San Bruno on San Mateo Ave. Parking can be a pain to find. The lot is located in the rear. Once you find a parking spot you will be treated to very good and piping hot traditional Philippine dishes. We ordered Beef Sisig, Bihon Guisado and the lumpia. All dishes were very good and reasonably priced.... More

Visited this Filipino restaurant in San Bruno a few weeks back with family before going to SF Airport. The venue was clean and simply decorated. Food tasted great, served in good portions for sharing. We ordered vegetables, fish, chicken and crispy pata which was such a delight, so succulent and tasty! The waiter has good customer service and has explained to us about... More

This is a hole in the wall along San Mateo Ave. in downtown San Bruno. The place is relatively small (Max. 65). The wait can be long when it's busy other than that service is fast and friendly. Food is piping hot and they always have a complimentary soup. Food is cooked to perfection and pretty tasty. Dessert is a... More

Our friend from Miami visited my husband and then we went to San Francisco to visit a common friend. He brought us to this restaurant in San Bruno called Kuya's Asian Cuisine. The food were great and delicious.

This is the place if you want fast efficient service. Food was very tasty and rates very reasonable. Halo halo was the best. Will definitely come back if I am in the area again. Highly recommended.

It was our first time to eat at this restaurant ..just entering the place something smells aweful already..then the server is not as accommodating and not smiling OMG...she shouldn't be working in a place where she has to deal with people anyway since we are all hungry we opted to stay. Food took long to be served the halo halo... More

I love this place. Been here a couple of times and I could honestly say that I was not disappointed at all. It's clean, homey, has great food, & most of all the people (staff and owner) have great customer service skills. It has the best Ube Halaya. I highly recommend this restaurant for people out there who like authentic... More

My favorite is Kuya's kare kare. Not too many places make it as good. Service is good and parking at the back is convenient. I just wish they add more healthy stuff.
