Taco Janes in San Anselmo is excellent! We love their cheese enchiladas in red sauce and their blackened fish tacos! Their salads served with dinner is fresh and goes well with dinner. They also have margaritas!

This place is my second go-to for lunch. Always fresh, great salsa, and a very small but comfy outdoor seating area.

This is a casually, friendly place which always seems to have tables for spur of the moment dining. It is average to good fare depending on what you get. They have a very unusual dark mole style salsa and keep the chips coming. They have...obtained a liquor license to sell Margaritas at last. Service is efficient. There are both indoor and outdoor tables with heaters. It is very family friendly and a popular place for folks in the neighborhood to take their kids. That can make it a bit raucous and loud at times. I find if you go later that crowd has left. Street parking is not too difficult. We do not go out of our way to eat here, but for a last minute place without much decision making, we default to coming here.More

This place is a cute little dive in the middle of a cute little town with average food, good margaritas, and a noise level that is deafening. The food is OK but it’s not the freshest of quality, the corn is tough, the vegetables are...not organic, and taste is poor. The seafood, such as the shrimp and the salmon are average at best, and the chips are kind of hard and tasteless. The service is good, they tables / especially the long one at the back are broken, and generally the place needs to be cleaned up. The door to the bathroom for example, doesn’t even have a handle. You go for the atmosphere. The prices are high. Can make better food at home.More

I've eaten here infrequently over the years and probably last ate here a year and a half ago. In the past the food was fresh and tasty. I've always enjoyed the freshly roasted salsa that comes with chips but this time found it flavorless. I...requested spicier salsas to add to it,. The black bean soup was bland and merely OK. The veggie tostada was totally tasteless. I'll return here only if I read rave reviews or hear by word of mouth that the food is tasty. Also, the music was impossibly loud. We ate in the outside room; with heaters it was cozy. The service was pretty good.More

The food here is really well prepared, and delicious. Plentiful as well - took home half of my Burrito which is rare for me... Cuban style Latin food...

Six of us stopped for dinner. The smoked salmon tacos were great, the snapper burrito the same. Asked for hotter salsa they brought out three types, all excellent. While it was our fault for not doing it ahead of time they did an excellent job...of sorting out the bill for us. Will definitely return.More

We had a family dinner here the night before Hallowe'en and a good eat was had by all. The kids' menu serves hefty portions for kids and neither of our kids was able to finish. One adult raved about her fish tacos. I highly recommend...the rock shrimp stuffed avocado salad. The vinaigrette dressing is light but not bitter. The avocado was ripe and delicious.More

My cousin took me to this place for lunch. It was such a beautiful day that we sat outside. Our server was quick to take our order and quick to deliver and oh so polite and friendly. The food was super fresh and delicious, well...seasoned and prepared. The watermelon juice, so refreshing. Loved this place and would definitely visit again.More
