Quite good Mexican food. I had Al Pastor burrito and it was delicious. Friendly service...not a lot of choices around and this may be the best.

We had a burrito and enchiladas Rojas. Very good food. Employees are really friendly and welcoming. I'm fully satisfied and highly recommend that place.

To find this place after driving through the post-apocalyptic wasteland that is Salton City is to stumble on an oasis. It is plainly furnished, but the beer is cold, everyone in the place is very friendly, and the food is out of this world. My chile verde crumbled on the fork. The rice and beans were homemade and excellent. The... More

Ate lunch here around 11am on a Wednesday in August ( one of the best months to visit the desert by the way - hot, dry and wonderful). Nice booths and decorated well. The interior bar down below was closed but the space looked inviting. Service was top notch. Carne Asada burrito and tacos were ordered. They were a tad... More

I was in Salton City for work and had some time to kill before a meeting. I decided I would get a bite to eat and noticed that there are not a lot of places to eat in the area. I stopped for lunch and was greeted by a wonderful young man named Oscar. His service was "top notch" and... More

We stopped in for dinner, wanted to try one of my favorite dinners here, Chili Colorado. Well the restaurant has changed hands and evidently the new owners have also changed the recipe. Unfortunately, this was not for the better. The chili was watered down and the meat had lots of fat. Too bad, no reason to go back here. MY... More

A friend from Idaho who snowbirds 'at Salton Sea' recommended we give The Alamo a chance as it sits in the middle of a 90 mile stretch of State Route 86 with no eats except what you could grab at a convenience store. The Alamo is a family-run operation patronized mainly by locals and truckaderos making the trip up from... More
