I cannot say enough great things about the food, atmosphere, service and setting. We tried several things on the menu and all were amazing. If you are a foodie go here. If you just love to eat go here. If you like fresh, fantastic and incredible dishes then go here. Don't miss this place if you anywhere near St. Helena.

This is a very good, fine dining restaurant a block off the main street in downtown St. Helena. It is run by the same people as Mustard's Grill (expensive but not quite as high as Mustard's). Reservations are probably needed for dinner on all days...for Fridays and Saturdays, call early. There is a moderate selection of salads, small plates, large... More

Charming setting on a back street with comfortable decor (older building with a nice remodel) offering a variety of delicious and tasty food and wine options. We will return on our next visit.

This place was recommended to us by a couple of young staff at an upscale winery we visited. Our party of four ordered two sunchoke soups, a Caesar salad, three burgers and a fish and chips, so we were not able to have a good sampling of their extensive lunch menu. The menu is not esoteric but standard American comfort... More

It's a must if you are anywhere near St Helena - we were staying in Yountville and the journey was well worth it, We arrived about 30 minutes prior to our reservation thought we would have a drink at the bar but were able to sit in one of the best tables at Cindy's, a table for 2 my husband... If you want to experience a Napa valley meal. Before all the hipe, and glitter go to cindy's. It's like dining Ina home. Service is very attentive, choose your method of dining fast or so. Everything is farm to table, substantial seafood, great soups, adult BLT. Great wine list. It is St. Helena so it does come out to 25$... More

Cindy's is one of our favorites in St Helena. We eat there every time we are in Napa. Sits off the main drag so a little harder to find if you don't already know about it. Food is always excellent and amazingly fresh ingredients! Great for a casual or romantic dinner. Highly recommend!!!

The chef/owner has an impressive resume which helps explain the creative and tasty offerings on the menu. A seat on the patio is great if available. Really enjoyed the duck burger.

We had eaten at their other restaurant, Mustards Grill, on previous visits to the area and were looking forward to our visit at the Backstreet Kitchen. Our reservation was for a Monday night but the dining area was not full that evening. We ordered a cocktail and decided to accompany them with the Oysters Bingo. They were excellent. Then we... Cindy's Backstreet Kitchen is a recommended meal stop for either lunch or dinner. The menu is varied but the Duck Burger rules most often (gotta try to get off that track once in awhile : ) Previous different food choices were all delicious. Terrific service in the bright and airy white tablecloth dining room is a plus. A great bar... More
