The food is great but the wine is seriously marked up. But you can bring a bottle if you buy a bottle. Expect to spend $80 each on five star food in 4 small portions.

Had an early evening meal here mid week in July. The menu was fixed number of courses but there was no fixed order or content, so with a 4 course option you could choose 4 deserts if you wanted, or 4 mains. We found the Japanese oriented dishes excellent but the more traditional western / Italian ones slightly less so.... More

We have been fortunate enough to dine in the Valleys very best restaurants. Terra very simply can run with any single one. The beauty is in Terra's delivery of ingenious menu selections from top to bottom, in a compact but stunning setting with spot on casual service. Without walking through the evening's selections, suffice to say that every single dish... More

Dined here with a party of six. The dining room is small and very comfortable with ample spacing between tables and a high ceiling. The waitress was very helpful and knowledgeable. Everyone enjoyed their dinner, but no raves. I would agree that the dishes are imaginative, but just very good. The service is not up to Michelin one star level.... More

One of my favorite restaurants in the Napa Valley. Very small dinning room. French Cuisine. Wonderful food and presentation. Have not had anything on the menu that I would not recommend.

Tap water disgusting-should offer bottled water without charge if only sewer water runs out of tap. Interesting menu design - choosing a number of courses from the entire lot. Some dishes were great - the octopus was my favorite. Most sounded more interesting than they tasted. Overall, we were disappointed by the hype surrounding this restaurant. We preferred every other... More

This is our favorite restaurant in the world. A small, intimate restaurant rated one of the top in the US. I prefer this restaurant over the French Laundry in Yountville. Had a great experience once again. Excellent wine list and mixed drinks. Next store they also have a tasting bar with small bites that is excellent.

I can not rate Terra more highly, from the moment we sat down we knew it was something special. The dining room is very small and intimate, but not formal and stuffy like some highly starred venues. It was like we had entered into someones private cellar. The service was sensational - and the food I don't even have words... More

There's a certain arrogance to this place that gives those who appreciate value an uneasy feeling. For instance, there's the ubiquitous brand drink upcharge. We asked the bartender what the "well liquor" was and he sniffed that he didn't know, but assured us it was inferior. Really, Bar Terra's drinks could be inferior unless we pay the 20% brand upcharge... More

Amazing dining experience. Went there with my wife and was blown away by the quality of the food, but mostly by the way Chef Sone combined ingredients. Great ambience and an outstanding service from Andrew. The 4 course meal was fantastic. Highlights to the black cod with shrimp dumpling ans shiso broth and the chocolate caramel tart. When in St....
