Gott's Roadside was founded in 1999 in Saint Helena by brothers Joel and Duncan Gott. Gott's California-inspired dishes and seasonal specials use locally sourced ingredients and purveyors such as Niman Ranch beef, Zoe's bacon, Panorama Bakery breads, and Osprey Seafood. Gott's modern approach to American roadside classics has something for everyone including dishes like the California Burger with a fried egg, Zoe's bacon, and balsamic onions, Ahi Poke Crispy Tacos with sushi grade Ahi tuna, a Chicken Schnitzel Sandwich with turmeric and harissa mayo, Chicken Kale Caesar, and hand-spun organic shakes. Gott’s local sourcing also extends to the glass with a California-centric list of wines and

We were staying nearby in St Helena and had read the rave reviews so we decided to try it out one evening. Everything we had was delicious - the onion rings, kale Caesar salad, chilli cheese fries, and the milkshakes were the best we've ever...had! We sat outside in the back and it was a great setting for a yummy summer dinner. We loved it so much we ordered some take out online a few nights later. Highly recommended if you're in the area!More

This is right on HWY 29 and it is very good . Parking is on both sides and what you do is look at the billboard menu( many) choices to choose from including wine and beer. You place your order and they you a give...remote call button and when your is ready your button flashes and vibrates. The food was excellent cooked to perfection. Perfect for lunch!!!More

Gott’s Roadside in St. Helena hosted our friend’s birthday kick-off dinner for a group of 24 guests from all over the U.S. The family-style group dining event in the roadside picnic garden was a clever idea. The huge shared trays of tuna tacos, Caesar salads,...hamburgers, impossible burgers, fries and onion rings, and milkshakes were impressive and fun. Gott’s also offers a good selection of local wine and craft beer. This is a unique roadside restaurant that is sure to please, and it was a great first food stop on our 5 day trip to Napa Valley. Great choice for families, couples, or groups.More

The California chicken sandwich was disappointing. There was a small piece of chicken inside a bun that was many times larger than the chicken. Not much flavor. The Falafel salad was good and will be ordered if ever again stopping at Gott's.

I have absolutely no idea why this place has such a high rating. There is absolutely nothing special about any of the food or ice cream. We stopped yesterday and got two $6 shakes. They were half melted by the time someone set off our...beeper. They were okay but definitely not worth $6. Then we went back this evening for dinner…wow completely disappointed. The burgers are NOT FRESH they are definitely out a frozen box. Super dry…and my first one was cold. Again someone letting it sit out and not setting off our timer. I asked for a fresh one…which they obliged…it was hot but still dry with no taste.More

Whenever visiting Napa Valley, we make it a point to stop at Gott's! No need to plan ahead, this place consistently offers good, fast food. Efficient and clean, if you have the time eat at one of their picnic tables and enjoy the complete Gott's...experience!More

Roadside burgers with a difference. Fantastic food, large portions with truly delightful cheese chilli fries. Gutted we are only passing through as we would go back again and again. The only downside was that it was a cold evening and not all the heaters worked...but I suspect I was just unlucky!More

We enjoyed a quick dinner at Gatt’s after an afternoon of wine tasting. Their hamburgers and sides (onion rings and brussel sprouts) were very good and hit the spot. It’s a welcome option if you’re pressed for time.

As always, Gott's cooked up some killer food. Our friends had never been and stated best burgers they had in a long time. Got to stop here every trip.

Grab the Dungeness crab window of opportunity! This crab is a short lived season. I had a wonderful crab on brioche bun the other day. Lots of large crab pieces. Yum!

Great cheeseburger & quick service—don’t be discouraged by a long line! Had sweet potato fries & onion rings—both good. They have heaters but they don’t do much & in 45o damp weather your food gets cold before you’re through.

Gotts is not your average roadside burger place. My favorite is the Aji tuna sandwich. So much flavor and a nice crunch in the Asian coleslaw dressing. Can’t go wrong with a cheeseburger or even a double cheeseburger and don’t forget the onion rings they...are outstanding! Quick service on the weekdays prepare ahead on the weekends as it gets busy but they’re very efficient. Check out their specials, many times they are something you should try. Good filling lunch or after winetasting.More

Hey, can’t go to Napa Valley without a double cheesburger and onion rings at Gott’s, formerly the Taylor Refresher, in St Helena. The line is long, but they move it. Just classic real food among all the wine tastings. You gotta do what you gotta...do!More
