We were excited to visit this place since the chef came from Chicago our home town. We were told to sit downstairs in the basement of this old house which was quite charming. Our waiter was friendly and the drink menu was great, but the food menu was much to be desired. I thought it didn't have much to choose... More

Loved, loved, loved this restaurant. Such a unique atmosphere- great to be able to see the chef do his thing and have a waiter (Thomas) who knew his stuff and obviously loved the food. I had an amazing mojito cocktail or 2 and the scallop appetizer, gnocchi, and a chocolate dessert. I was with 5 friends, we all ordered something... More

Goose & Gander has a wonderful bar downstairs full of history & character with a fun team and delicious cocktails. Outside dining is plentiful and lovely and the food was quite good.

Our lunch was truly delightful!! When we arrived my son, age 5 1/2, saw the Koi pond and fell absolutely in love with the fish. One of the waitresses was feeding them and invited him to join in the frenzy!! While we waited for Daddy to arrive, we were kindly waited on for an early child friendly meal. The menu... More

Don't get me wrong, this is a nice place. It has indoor and outdoor seating, a cool bar downstairs and a nice vibe. It even has good food. But, so do almost all the food establishments in the valley. I think they "hold their own" but wouldn't rate them better than average (for the valley). I should also point out... More

the outdoor dining was wonderful. Plenty of shade and a coy pond. We started with fried olives with pistachio nuts and corn croquettes. Both were different and delicious. The burger was one of the best ever. and the ceasar salad had just enough dressing so it was not overpowering.

We really got a kick out of this place. We stopped for a bite to eat after visiting the Castello di Amorosa winery. The sturgeon was really good but had just a slight swampy-pond after taste but not bad. The chicken was amazing (daughter said it was the best chicken she ever had) as was the charcuterie board. Outstanding. The... More

We always seem to stop by at strange restaurant hours of the day... Late lunches at 3pm... But the staff is always courteous and welcoming. The wine selection is amazing and the appetizers and entrees always fun to try something new! Love this place... It's consistently a winner- great food, service, ambiance. A Great place for both locals and visitors!

Stumbled across this restaurant on our way back from a winery tour and it was perfect. Live band in the garden, seating outside, great food and the staff were so friendly - went out of their way to serve us. Richard our server was particularly friendly and helpful. Thoroughly recommend!

We had lunch at the Goose and Gander. Parking was on the street and pretty readily available....get off Rt 29 to find parking. We opted for outdoor seating and were quickly seated in a shady location with a nice breeze. Perfect for a warm, sunny day. We skipped alcoholic beverage and instead opted for a club soda ($2.50) and Lemonade... More
