About
Farmstead at Long Meadow Ranch's restaurant showcases the seasonal, ingredient-driven American farmhouse cooking of executive chef Stephen Barber. Housed in a former nursery barn, our 110-seat restaurant revolves around a central open kitchen with booth and central seating, community dining, and a full bar. We feature an authentic farm-to-table menu. The ingredients are foraged from local sources and feature Long Meadow Ranch's all natural grass-fed beef and lamb, organic and sustainably produced eggs, fruits, vegetables, extra virgin olive oil, vinegar, and honey. Possessing a substantial background in Southern cooking styles, Stephen emphasizes a wood-burning element for select dishes. Farmstead

Very cool setting with good food and service! The caramelized beets and kale salad were good starters. The grilled trout and pork chop were perfectly seasoned and cooked. We were 4 ladies with small appetites but picky and the server made sure we did not...over-order. They have their own vegetable garden (you can walk around) so all the veggies on the menu were so fresh. The store was closed by the time we got there but I read they harvest their own honey.More

We came on a busy Sunday, and choosing the day you visit is definitely a consideration: the winery portion of the business definitely attracts a lot of people and has become more "touristy" over the last couple of years. Unfortunately, these crowds bleed into the...restaurant setting and can make a peaceful experience a little less so. This last visit, however, we enjoyed the same delicious food, beautiful outdoor dining, and this time our server was Hannah who was awesome!More

I heard great reviews about Farmstead, so I wanted to check it out myself. I fell in love as soon as I walked onto the property, the ambiance is very rustic chic. The food was divine, we got the Mini Ham Sandwiches (My Favorite), Wood...Grilled Artichoke, & their Butternut Squash seasonal special. This was just the right amount of food to share between two people. The service was amazing, our server was so sweet and was really knowledgeable about the dishes. I will definitely be back!More

First I will admit that I did this visit more for the fact it was a wine and food pairing. The bad new is that this was Father's Day and they include a wine tasting, restaurant and general Store in the ares. Parking was an...absolute menace especially in their lot and we finally parked down the street and walked in. The food was pretty good but the wine was not anything to write home(or on TripAdvisor) about. I really have nothing to recommend about this place and if I returned to Napa, there are enough Vinyards to recommend missing this oneMore

My husband and I have enjoyed several trips to this restaurant and nearly always come away very satisfied. So today we decided to treat him to a birthday lunch. We sat on the patio in a gorgeous secluded area and enjoyed the beautiful weather. We...ordered the cheddar biscuits to start, and they were, as always, delicious. I ordered a glass of chardonnay and he ordered zinfandel, both very good. But the green salad with pulled chicken I ordered was not top notch. The greens were wilted, as if they had been prepared the day before and been refrigerated overnight (or longer). It also tasted too salty in places. My husband's pulled pork sandwich was good, but the crispy herbed potatoes were cold. We are glad we got out for the occasion, and the lovely atmosphere made for a pleasant time, sitting there drinking our wine. But unfortunately, the food was a little disappointing.More

Overall I would say our party of five adults had a nice dinner. On the plus side the venue is great and they had misters for outside for the hot night keeping us cool. The wine list has some nice selections. The speciality cocktails are...pretty good. And we had a nice server although I did feel rushed—probably since we were one of the last seating at 830pm. For the food, the results were mixed: we liked the apps of smoked chicken wings and deviled eggs but the burrata was so-so. On main courses two people ordered the highly recommended trout but only one liked it. Port chop was a hit. Artichoke decent. Salad good. So overall I think it was decent place to eat. Btw didn’t try the bourbon flights but they look amazing.More

My wife knows I love whiskey and after 3 days of wine, she surprised me with this little gem. The whiskey selection is top notch with several "unicorns" available for purchase. We started with the deviled egg appetizer and the grass fed beef tartare. Both...excellent. I especially like the pickled onions. We also had to try the cheddar biscuits and they were some of the best I've ever had. I ordered the ribs and my wife the pork chop. Between the meal and the pours from the whiskey list, this was one of the best meals of 2022 so far. Kind of pricey, but the selection and freshness coupled with the staff knowledge and friendliness make it worth it.More

The recommendations are 10000% correct. About 30 min from Napa town centre and out of this world. The smell of the wood smoke is tantalizing from the minute you get out of the car and the warm welcome bro ha you in to a place...that feels like the best meal you’ve ever had at home. We shared 2 appetizers and by tights should have stopped there - it was more than enough to eat. My husband had the smoked chicken wings (OMG good) and I had the tartar (decent but the weakest of our menu items although the wood smoke crostini were spectacular). For mains he had ribs and I had the pork chop. My husband who is a master of the grill conceded to the chef that they *may be* as good or better than is. This is BIG! I had the chop which was MASSIVE and served with jalapeño grits and broccoli with an onion jam. I am still trying to wrap my head around how well balanced and well planned the dish was. I loved every bite I could manage before boxing up the rest. Dessert was not an Option but looked good. Absolutely worth the drive.More

The reviews and ratings peaked my interest and I was looking forward to it. However, I got sick--food poisoning possibly. I ordered the trout and was very disappointed. It was overly seasoned and had tons of salt. The manager promptly offered to have it remade....However, I got sick within 25 minutes of my first bite and never finished the meal. We left in a hurry, but we should have let the manager know what happened.More

Lovely restaurant with amazing herbs garden, which is an attraction in itself. Outside seating was very cozy - the tables are on the garden side… just beautiful. We had no reservations and had to wait for 30 minutes but this was our time to enjoy...the pretty garden, so it was well worth it. My husband ordered a cheeseburger and I decided on grilled artichokes. Unfortunately, grilled artichokes were inedible: they were completely overcooked and simply not even chewable. I had to send them back and it didn’t create any problems at all. I had the same cheeseburger as my husband and undoubtedly it was the best cheeseburger I had in my life. Absolutely mouthwatering! Our waitress was very polite and accommodating.More

Our party of 6 felt like we were the only table, despite it being a large restaurant. The food quality was mixed. The artichoke starter was on the grill too long, so it was somewhat burned. However, the cheese biscuits were great. The ribs had...also spent too much time under the heat lamp and were dry but saved with the BBQ sauce. However, the dessert beignet and chocolate chip cookie were excellent.More

Four of us for early dinner. We ordered an expensive bottle of white wine, per recommendation of the manager. It was wonderful. I had the ribs for dinner, tender and smokey. Very good. For the table, we ordered sides of crispy potatoes and cheddar biscuits,...both were great. Had a second bottle of wine with dinner. Service was excellent, food equally top shelf! Great local dining!More
