We are big fans of this neighbrohood Taqueria. My first test of any Mexican restaurant is the quality of their rice and beans, and these don't disappoint. The rice is particularly flavorful. We love their chilli Rellenos, chilli verde, and enchiladas.

Love a great Taqueria and this place is one of the great ones. It is a nice family owned place and the food is really good. Someone complained they have a space for a tip when you order, which is at the counter and they...bring it to your table. My response to that is there is a place to leave them a cash tip if you want to wait till after you eat. We have had their nachos, crispy El Pastor Tacos, burrito, and sope. Enjoyed everything!More

The line to order was consistently 5-7 people deep. The menu is robust. I tried the carne asada dinner plate. There are chips and a salsa bar. It came with beans—refried or whole—guacamole, tortillas, and rice. The refried beans were a bright color and different...flavor. Portions are generous. Google maps took me on a funny route. It is in a strip mall on Truxel.More

Very good food - I had the Suiza, a grilled quesadilla with carne asada & my hubby had the super burrito w/guacamole on the side, a couple of Negra modelos. The food was very good and the beers in ice cold mugs- yummy! The only...let down... I needed to use the ladies room & that was disgusting!!! There was no lid on the tank & a blue piece of tape with handwriting to indicate how to flush... this restaurant does plenty of business and can certainly afford to fix this issue and clean the bathroom. One other drawback is there is ALWAYS a cart of dirty dishes to greet you as you come in either of the doors - these should be taken promptly to the kitchen and not left out. We have friends that won’t eat there just because of that.More

8 of my family members ventured out to eat at Taqueria Rincon. This was our first visit. The food was a great, however, the service was a lacking because our tables were not bussed after we finished eating and sat talking with each other. Although...the restaurant itself was clean, the restrooms were unusable. We were disappointed that their signature whole dish dish was not available on the weekends. I would visit again.More

There are no shortage of taquerias in Sacramento and this one falls right in the middle of the options. The chip bar is nice with good salsas, but the chips have been stale on more than one of my visits. The food is decent, but...you can find better around town. The people are nice. The place is fairly clean. I know this review does not say much but it’s the type of place you are not disappointed with when you go, but you don’t go around telling everyone about it.More

It sounded authentic and said it served huevos rancheros...but they did not serve it after 11am, which if i had known I wouldnt have gone there. Once there, I found it to be a self order and they ask you right away to pay and...also tip. Im not going to tip, because i wasnt served yet. Once ordered i ws given a tag to place on my table. I ordered menudo and guacamole. The menudo i requested them to heat up since it was warm not hot. The guacamole was not authentic..it was a mixture of ready made avacado preperation, onions, tomatoes and tasted horrible. I will never go back there. The women who were the servers were not freindly and looked like they had a bad day. while the men folk were behind the counter cooking or preparing...What made it the worse food possible was not just the service but the food itself was way over salted...I came originally from Los Angeles and even the meekest and smallest Mexican kitchen in LA is more authentic than this place...big thumbs down.More

There are a whole lot of places in Natomas to get Mexican Food. This place is open daily until 10 pm, so they are doing something right. The burritos are pretty darn good. They have regular, Super, and they offer an 18” one that probably...should be shared. I have had the combo plates too. So much food! I see that they offer Menudo on the weekends, so truly a full service taqueria. Located right off of Truxel, so easy in/out. If you are shopping at Natomas Marketplace, you might want to check out this place. Only 5 minutes away. So good!More

We eat here every few months. My husband always has the super burrito (used to have the carnitas & now orders the Asada). I ordered the Super Quesadilla (zinchronazada sp?) and now get the Asada too. The carnitas are very flavorful-but very fatty. Just like...last time, the meat in the Quesadilla is not spread out evenly and the "end cuts" of the entree only had onions in them and no meat. It would really be nice if they did not rush getting the food out for speed and payed more attention to the quality of the food served. We'll continue to go there - just hoping one of these days, they "fill" the quesadilla evenly. The salsa bar was very low (6:30 pm) and the pickled peppers, carrots & onions were empty.More

My husband's family is Mexican and we're very prickly about eating out. This place was better than homemade! Everything was so fresh and good. If you want the real thing, this is the place to go!
