Chef, Attention to every detail of our dinning experience can only be upstaged by your philanthropic generosity to the Sacramento community.Your donation helped make our Sobon Estate Winemaker Dinner last weekend a very memorable experience. Our guests were blown away by the service, the kitchens creativity and the ambiance of the nook in the back. How you were able to... More

Just my daughter and I for a birthday dinner at the fantastic place. Place was very busy when we arrived a little early for our 8:30 dinner reservation. Hostess was able to seat us immediately. Our server Kelly D was on point all night long along with the rest of the staff. Water refiled at the right time. Dishes removed... More

The food is inventive and daring!! The menu changes often but some classics are the soda bread with bread and butter with Red Sea salt, pork chop is a regular. When in season the fresh burrata and tomatoes are a must ! This place invented the local-- farm to fork movement-- Sacramento has great local agriculture and Pat takes advantage... More

If you are asked if you would like to be seated in the "dish room", jump on it and you'll be happy you did! We met friends there and were delighted to have a quiet dinner in a private room with just the four of us. The shelves on the walls were filled with serving platters and dishes. Many tea... More

i joined 4 other colleagues for a business dinner in the private room at Mulvaney's and the service and food was excellent. I had an outstanding groper dish. The owner greeted us outside the restaurant and I had the opportunity to congratulate him. The only misstep was due to the lack of parking on the street we put the rental... More

A wonderful menu featuring delicious soups and first courses. (Kitchen uses locally grown vegetables and fruits etc.) Patio dining is available - artistic touches add to the ambience. Service is excellent and management friendly. Full bar!

Every meal I've had at Mulvaney's has been excellent and the atmosphere is cozy yet energetic. The patio is a wonderful spot for spring or summer dates. Seasonal menu, excellent wine offerings. Desserts to die for.

The ambience of this restaurant is welcoming much like its chef Patrick Mulvanely. This is one of the better restaurants in Sacramento. It is in a great old structure and the courtyard dinning is one of the best places in spring and summer. Farm to fork is practiced here and the freshness of the food is obvious and the waiters... Mulvaney's is one of Sacramento's finest restaurants, and we have always enjoyed superb food and equal service on our visits there - but last night's meal was a mixed bag: there were four of us, and three had wonderful and different entree selections. I chose the aged prime rib, which at $44 was the most expensive offering on the menu,... More
