Nice eating environment. Food was excellent and service was very quick. We ordered the all you can eat meal for 4 people and it was just right. I also loved the green tea ice cream at the end for dessert - yum!

This is far and away the best shabu shabu I have had!! In comparison to a place in Berkeley and two places in San Francisco, it blows them all away. The broth is key. This broth is very flavorful, so you don't need to rely...More

Fondue is kind of '60's for the most part. Authentic fondue as is found in Switzerland is great, but most fondue restaurants in the U. S. are a bit passé and often somewhat pretentious. Heat Shabu Baru is different: It is Japanese style fondue and...More

The food here was beyond excellent. We ordered two large Wagu plates and a regular vegetarian plate with miso, takatsu, and spicy takatsu broth, and an appetizer of gyoza. This was more than enough to feed five hungry adults. We originally had plans to eat...More

Food is decent and service was extremely friendly. Ordered 2 large (american beef/lamb) and poppers. This was PLENTY of food for 2 people with the green tea ice cream for dessert. Also comes with rice and a small amount of ramen noodles. Had the spicy...More
