The difference between eating & dining.

Friends meeting before the theatre. It was great to take the time to enjoy each others' company while we " cook" our meal. It was special and the dessert was to die for. It is pricey but for a special occasion well worth it.

Valentine's day

Good service with a little bit of a wait. Was ok, because we enjoyed people watching in the small bar they have. Great food! And well suggested wine options to pair with the food you choose.

Excellent service, good portion size

Went for a birthday lunch on Dec 27,2019 The service was great & the portions perfect. It was more fun than we thought it would be. Three things keep it from being 5 stars: it was very dimly lit, very cold & the music a...bit loud (though great songs were played) ,so we had to raise our voices to talk, which is not great.More

Romantic dinners

We’ve been dining at this Melting Pot for many years. A great place to go for a romantic evening. There is enough variety on the menu to make everyone happy. If you’ve never experienced the cook-it-yourself routine, the friendly staff explains it all for you;...fun and easy once you learn the simple drill. Expect the dinner to take longer than you may originally anticipate. A well-run establishment. We’ve never had any complaints, only compliments. Food is fresh and delicious. We usually end up eating too much.More

relaxing time with family

We (4 of us) went to the Sacramento Melting Pot to celebrate a special birthday and had a great time. It was our first time & our waitress was very helpful & patient with us. We enjoyed a leisurely evening with good food, we all...were stuffed when we left. We had the 4 course dinner. The cheese fondue was decadent, salad was fresh & flavorful. We enjoyed the variety of sauces with the main course & the Bananas Foster desert...my mouth is watering at the thought.More

Excellent

I took my brother and his wife here before he took us to The Drowsy Chaperone. The waitress had great recommendations dealing with our show time and late arrival. It was an excellent choice for our group, since his wife doesn’t care for seafood, but...he likes it. Loved the food and great service.More

Very Good

New experience for us. You cook your meat at the table, Food was very good. Server was friendly. California salad was yummy!

The Melting Pot

We went to Melting Pot for dinner before a show at nearby Wells Fargo Pavilion. Service was excellent, as they hurried along to get our order faster. Normally, it takes 2-4 hours to get the full benefit of this restaurant. They had us out and...on to the show in an hour. We had the spinach dip, along with a salad. Atmosphere was very pleasant! We recommend eating there if you are going to a show. Prices about normal for a high end restaurant. I highly recommend this establishment.More

Wish they were where I live

I was on a business trip and all by myself. I found this restaurant very accidentally. I went in and the staff was absolutely fabulous they found me a nice little table by myself made great recommendations for the food. It was absolutely wonderful. They...bring a fondue pot right to your table and assemble all the ingredients, tell you what it is, why they’re doing what they’re doing and in the end it was so delicious. I wish they were in my hometown so I can go back again and again. I would highly recommend this place.More

Great as usual. We'll be back.

Like other Melting Pots, the food and service is good, but pricey. Last time here, we came for lunch and ordered 2 orders of the 4-course meal, which was adequate to feed, but not stuff, a family of 5. We learned that the restaurant validates...for parking in the attached garage.More
