A very hard week of traveling to 4 cities and now in Sacramento over the weekend. This place on the river was relaxing. Fun to see the boats pull up as well as enjoy some good conversation with locals.

The food was just ok. The service was terrible. Got seated right away but also got asked towards the end of our meal, if we would want anything else because they were wanting to give our table to someone else. Very rude. And the drinks and food took awhile to come out and they weren't anything special.

Don't use the old airline tramway if the river is down - it will be a precarious trip up and down but once inside all that is forgotten! Start with the sturgeon appetizer - crispy tender slices of sturgeon with a honey like glaze. Delisth. Black bean soup is a must. I had the fish tacos which were plentiful and... More

Food here is good - better than you think it will be considering it is a "river rat" dive bar...lots of fresh fish and Mexican dishes. The tamales are good and my husband said the Cuban omelet was fab. They don't have a deep fryer so no fries with burgers but they have good cheesecake desserts. Benedict is very good... More

This is such a great venue but it needs some work on the insides and the food. I'm all for classic, nostalgic and rustic but clean it up and keep the food current, tasty and visually pleasing! It's a diamond in the rough.

Overpriced. Take caution walking down the very steep rail cars entrance to the restaurant entrance. Best part of experience...accidental sea otter (?) show in the river. Food = mediocre for price. Decor = 1970s retro. Sturgeon, smoked appetizer. Meh. Wish we had tried another restaurant for the money.

What better way to visit with fiends than to be outside enjoying fish tacos (week of Cinco de Mayo) on the outside patio looking at the Sacramento River - really nice place, nice food, nice ...

I have been going to this restaurant for many years. It has a laid back ambiance with excellent food and drinks. A great spot to enjoy a nice casual dinner or beverage and take in the sunset on the river. A unique setting with an excellent staff.

Nice setting on the Sacramento River, especially in Spring when the water is up. This place continues to attract regulars with good food and service. Try the catfish!

We have been coming to this restaurant for well over 20 years. It's actually a barge that sits on the river. It's a funky place with indoor and outdoor seating. During the summer, the boats can tie up to the dock and grab a quick bite. The fish choices are plentiful and this trip we shared the sampler platter with... More
