A little lacking in ambiance, but the food is lovely and the service is wonderful. We went for the price fixe 3 course menu which had several great options and was great, fresh food.

My wife had the pan-fried California petrale sole, which was bedded on perfectly steamed Bloomsdale spinach, with fingerling potatoes in a lemon-caper butter sauce, I had the Caesar salad, which was served on a bed of crisp, tangy Romaine lettuce, garnished with radishes, garlic croutons, shaved parmesan, and lightly dressed with homemade Caesar dressing. Both lunches were excellent.

The food was ok, the service was excellent. It was a little pricey. The location is in the business district next tithe convention center.

My wife never eats all her meal, but here she almost bit into the plate. She had the crab and shrimp Louie salad. I have not seen her eat like that in a long time. I had the steak which was ok.

Business dinner mid week. Part of group of restaurants with different themes. Portions were small for the price. The service was excellent. Make sure you bring your flash light app on your phone as this place is not well lighted. Soup is very good!

Went last night prior to seeing Book of Mormon. I brought a bottle of wine for with dinner. Waitress came and introduced herself. Very friendly. Asked if we wanted the wine opened. I said we would, but would drink that with our entrees. We started with cocktails. Ordered our meals and the service was good for the most part. I... More

I ordered my beverage on the rocks. It came neat. My bar mate said "I heard you order on the rocks, clearly" I repeated my order to the bartender. He SPLASHED a scoop of ice into my glass. Somebody teach him how correct an order: remove the glass to the mixing station. make it right, serve it to the customer... More

Went here last night (a Thursday) for the first time with my father and my honey. We had an excellent meal with great service, both at the bar and at our table. I made a reservation on OpenTable.com just in case but the place never did get packed. I think that's because this is a more upscale type of place... More

This was our first visit to Esquire Grill. Our server was fabulous, had a great sense of humor. We had a reservation and were seated upon arrival. The clam chowder is very good but they must add a bit of tomato paste as the color is tinged red. The petrale sole was very good. The short ribs were tasty and... More
