We don't eat out much so maybe our reaction that everything seem very pricey doesn't match current pricing in up-scale restaurants. Our entries, scallops ($32) and salmon ($28), were superbly seasoned and cooked just right. Wine was $14 a glass, desserts were $10, Irish Coffee was $10, etc. Total bill was over $160. Waiter was informative and pleasant, but not... More

Recently renovated and reopened the patio is reason enough to go! It is truly one of the most lively settings in the city. The menu is a little limited. I started with the apple and celery salad and then had pasta both were good. They have a decent wine list and obligatory signature cocktail menu. I would go back --... More

Work associates brought me here and I was duly impressed with the patio. The water features were great and the ambience perfect. The weather cooperated so it was really enjoyable dining outside. I ordered the arugula salad and although I liked it- it was very salty and too lemony. The swordfish special was cooked perfectly and had a great sauce-... More

Had dinner on Tuesday with a group of six. Still the best outdoor patio in town. Wait staff was cordial but disappointing. We were offered bread and the waited 15 minutes for it. If my wine glass is empty before dinner comes out , ask me if I'd like another glass of something. Waiting for it once the food has... More

I hadn't been to Paragary's since about 1999. Wow...incredible new interior, new menu and same incredible quality. Great wine list, creative cocktails and the food was spot on. Great evening.

We went to celebrate my daughters sixth anniversary. We were outside on the patio which is a perfect place to dine. Great food. Great service.

Beautiful patio for lunch or dinner and for quiet conversation with friends. Lunch menu is varied to fit all tastes. One of my lunch mates had pan seared trout. The other had a cabbage, chicken and cashew salad while I had a scrumptious BLT pannini.

Fabulous atmosphere and close freeway access. The service and food are delightful. My favorites are the Kale salad and the amazing loaf of sourdough bread!

I love the patio dining. The selection of wines and drinks is great, lovely inside seating. A bit noisy with high energy inside compared to the patio. The patio has some group dining tables so you can meet new people. The menu offers a good selection stressing farm to table. A nice option and great neighborhood staple.

We ate dinner at Paragary;s last night. Previous experiences have been very good ones. Last night was different. Of our three plates two were mildly warm at best: closer to cold than to hot. the food tasted good but was not served hot. Unsual for Paragary's. In addition to the cold food, the waitress dropped food on the ground, noticed... More

Description
Our menu and bar program are influenced by French classics, yet dictated by the seasonal bounty of the Sacramento region. Originally established in 1983, the restaurant underwent an extensive remodel in 2015, combining both modern and traditional elements to create a relaxed, timeless environment that lets the food and drinks take center stage. The light and airy interior opens up to the renowned dining patio that features waterfalls, 60 year-old olive trees and a large fireplace. **Limited bar menu served Tuesday-Friday from 2p-5:30p**
