Great food and ambience. Not just a sports bar, at night it has a loungy feel to it and it isn't overly masculine. Fantastic gastropub style food which is as tasty as it is creative. The service was also great, attentive and friendly waitstaff. Will def go again!

Wonderful atmosphere, fantastic food, and excellent food. You can't go wrong with the quality and beauty of the main dining room or the courtyard.

This is a serious restaurant. Very good food, expertly prepared and no surprises. Superb mature service by knowledgable servers. Astounding wine list. Oil paintings on the walls and white linen table coverings. Diners properly attired; no one wearing a backwards baseball cap. This is old school dining. Excellent.

We were traveling on the Amtrak from Denver to Seattle and had a 10 hour layover in Sacramento. The train station is a short walk from Old Sacramento, so we gave it a try. After reviewing our dining options in Old Sacramento, we selected the Firehouse Restaurant. The restaurant is a fine steakhouse type of establishment and has all the... More

If your looking for a lovely place in old town, try dining in the courtyard of the Firehouse! A wonderful atmosphere, excellent service, and delicious food. It does getting a little bit loud during the prime hours on the weekends, although that should be expected. An all around pleasant experience!

I was treated to dinner here for my last birthday! I don't think it has an equal in this area! Service and food were both memorable.....the extra mile isn't very crowded! The location is right in the middle of old town which is a nice diversion after dinner for a stroll and/or to visit some of the shops and other... More

I took my friend to the Firehouse for her birthday celebration. I always like to take my friends to a nice resturant. I had eaten here before and loved the food, and atmosphere. This is a resturant where you take someone special as they make you feel Special here. Upon arrival they greet you, thank you for coming, offer the... More
