The sandwiches at Tony’s are good size portions and the ones we tried come out hot. Tried The Godfather, Reuben and Meatball. Of the three, my favorite was the Reuben. It had great flavor and the bread was tasty. It’s easy to eat, as the...meat is soft. The Meatball was tasty and big. I had a hard time eating it because the meatballs are large. They definitely don’t skimp on the meatballs. The Godfather is full of meats and filling. If you are in the area, I would definitely stop in and get a sandwich.More

Lots of tempting choices - I went for the gyro salad. Lots of great fresh vegetables - everything you would expect in a Greek salad, plus feta cheese and gyro meat. I got the regular size (as opposed to the small) and didn't quite finish...all of the lettuce.More

Dandy of a meatball sandwich, kept it simple with bread, sauce, cheese, and meatballs. When you visit: 1. Order your sandwich 2. Get your number 3. Grab any chips and drinks you want 4. Pay at the register in front. 5. Wait for your sandwich...and eat (eating someone else’s sandwich will earn you a knuckle sandwich).More

This is a your average local deli that serves great sandwiches! My Ruben was awesome! Plenty of seating.

When my work was wanting sandwiches brought in for an interview panel, I immediately suggested Tony's. I placed my order right when they opened and it was ready for me at the pick up time I had given them. The panel thought the food (sandwiches...& salads) were very good. Thank You Tony's for getting me to success on a very stressful day for my boss.More

Really liked the place. The food was very good, the place was clean and the people were friendly. I went back. Great for a quick, delicious sandwich. Note: if you're fine with a basic ham and cheese or turkey and cheese or other, don't wait...in the long line to order one at lunch. Just go in and grab one of the pre-made sandwiches sitting on top of the deli case. Delicious, fresh and fast!More

The line was long which is not a problem and often a sign of a good restaurant however when we got to the front of the line there were four people frantically moving around and not accomplishing a lot. Then the only guy that can...take the order also had to run around the corner to run the cash register. Our food was delivered by dropping it off at our table without a word or even an acknowledgment that we were there. The food wasn't so good that I would go back with that kind of serviceMore

The wait in line was at least 30-45 minutes. I had the cob salad and it was just okay. It wasn't the worst salad that I have had but definitely wasn't the best. I heard the sandwiches are great but they didn't have any gluten...free choices of bread.More

I was in town for business and my room was not ready, there was another place 10 steps from my hotel but when I looked in it was packed so I just kept on walking down J street and happened upon this place. Had a...ham, lettuce, tomato, onion, American cheese, mayo & mustard on marble rye, fantastic! I sat outside and basked in the sun but they have plenty of inside seating as well. This is some of the freshest bread. It is huge and comes with a pickle, I got a bag of chips, 2 drinks (of which they gave a huge selection of) and a side of pasta salad for $16. Good value! It's low key and happy staff. It looks like they do gourmet coffee and breakfast too, I may have to hit them up for breakfast before I go!More
