First, a compliment. I had a very nice tomato melon salad here. And now---a complaint. I ordered a glass of wine that showed a price of $8. Historically, the price of a glass is the one on the left of a price and if there...are three its for a glass of wine/a carafe/or a bottle. But the bill came and I was charged $16, and I asked why? And the waitress said because the first price is for a half glass of wine. I said to her "but you never said that or indicated that, did you?" and she said "no." But she wouldn't budge (and mind you not even knowing this I only did drink a half of a glass of wine). I saw that other people have written about this too. For this reason---I won't go back, despite the good food. There are a lot of wonderful restaurants in this area.More

I was in Sacramento for work and met a friend here for a glass of wine on a weekday evening. We did not have a reservation, but that did not prove a problem--around 8:30pm, there was ample seating at the bar, outside, and at tables....I was quickly welcomed by the staff, and the staff was attentive throughout our time, even stopping by before the kitchen closed to make sure that we did not want to order any food. The wines by the glass selection was decent for reds and whites. Nothing too original or earth-shattering, but a nice sampling of wines from around the world, with an emphasis on France, Italy, and Spain. I thought prices were reasonable for half- and full glasses; I had a full glass of Sancerre for $12, which is pretty good. Decor is nothing fancy but pleasant and comfortable. It was an easy and enjoyable night out, and I'd definitely return. It felt like a nice, neighborhood establishment. The staff and customers were all pretty chill.More

Make sure you specify witch type of pour you want. The staff will not ask, they will just bring you the most expensive one. Good selection of wines.

Nice atmosphere and good food. Be careful when reading the menu. They list prices for half glasses and full glasses so if you're not paying attention you could end up paying more than you were planning.

Decided to try this place on a Friday night dinner with my Husband (had reservations) after reading some good reviews about the food and wine.... I wish I had paid more attention to the reviews about the aloof and rude staff! After entering we noticed...there was no hostess to greet us, luckily, another customer explained it was open seating. After picking a table we were brought menus and waters by one employee but nothing was said. After SEVENTEEN minutes of sitting at the table with just menus and waters another employee came over to refill our waters. After explaining to her that we had made eye contact with almost every server who walked by, we watched as over 4 different servers congregated in the corner, (while making eye contact with us) we were upset and were leaving. The fact that she had to refill our waters before anyone had even verbally acknowledged us with a "hey guys someone will be right with you" was beyond poor customer service. It was completely disgusting to be treated as if we did not exist. I'm ashamed for the company and staff, that it took us WALKING OUT in order to get any acknowledgement. The management and restaurant not only lost two paying patrons but a large group of people who ended up meeting us elsewhere.More

Comfortable sofa and pleasant atmosphere for a glass of wine. Service was very good and place was well staffed. Dinner menu was larger than it showed on this site and their website. Enjoyable and would return.

We dropped in for the Wednesday night happy hour followed by the usual wine tasting. We enjoyed a very informative presentation of several sparkling wines - each with a unique taste and experience. The meat and cheese tray with a glass of wine was great...and a perfect way to end the evening.More

I travel to CA. a lot for business and have yet to find a really friendly and delicious restaurant— that is until now. The food was really good and the service was even better. Marian the server deserves extra credit. Highly recommend!

While the beef filet was tender and tasty, the romaine in the caesar salad and the broccoli were tough. Also the website had no real information on the valet parking and I circled the blocks many times looking for parking. The chocolate torte was very...good.More
