We said we’d be back and we’re amazed to realize it’s been a few months already! Blame it on our aversion to COVID. Our Easter Sunday experience was sublime from the parking lot (attendants were friendly and gracious) to the front receiver who graciously took...our photo just below the hand painted Easter egg display. The most difficult task was to pick from the selections of appetizer, mains, and dessert. Each dish was meticulously prepared and presented. We were five bubble-mates who came. For appetizers, we had the foie gras (3 of 5), gulf shrimp, and the burrata. For mains, we had the lamb (again, 3 of 5), the scallops, and the lobster omelet. I have to say, the lobster omelet needs a little rework. There was less than desired lobster and the cheese to go with it kinda took away from the enjoyment of the lobster. It should have taken center stage. The egg was a little too thick. I prefer the lobster omelet at Solbar. That one was worked well into the eggs and the cheese complimented the entire dish -lobster and egg. Our desserts were the stylized but still lovely bananas Foster (you need a better banana bread though!), light sorbets, the two decadent chocolate offerings. It was getting windy again late into our meal. So, we appreciated the coffees and teas. (I do miss their cookies though.) Now, I wonder what’s for Mother’s Day...More

We ate at the bistro of the restaurant. The view was wonderful and service attentive, helpful and not intrusive. We ordered wines by carafe and they served 3 glasses more or less. The entrees were plentiful and well prepared included in our selections were halibut,...steak tar tar and a pasta. Can’t miss all were delicious.More

So The Restaurant at Auberge is closed, but the space is being served by The Bistro! First, and foremost, you cannot beat the magnificent view from here, especially when the valley is clear. Tag onto that great food and wonderful service, this spot can’t be...beat. Istefina, our server, was both gracious and professional. She is a credit to this resort. Our lunch consisted of Halibut Ceviche, Duck Liver Mousse, Quiche with Butter Lettuce salad and pan seared Salmon. Every dish was a nice presentation, served at proper temperatures. All Covid protocols are being followed here. Always a highlight of visiting the Napa Valley!!More

We were there for dinner and ate outside at the edge of the balcony, thus with a tremendous view of the valley trailing off in the distance. I started with a bright and tasty gazpacho with frisee and flowers as garnish, and my girlfriend had...a creamy and fresh corn soup. We then shared house made campanella pasta, and margherita pizza. The restaurant seemed a bit slow our night, perhaps reflecting what we were told was a 20% occupancy rate at the hotel. Although the food was good, I wish we had liked the total experience more than we did, but we would definitely go back. The maitre d' was excellent. The restaurant is lovely.More

Amazing dining experience! Staff went out of their way to create an elegant yet relaxed atmosphere, even with the pandemic precautionary measures. Eric took great care of us, attentive and aware of what was happening at our table, knowing when to check in or follow...up without interrupting conversation. The evening highlights included perfectly prepared and timed drinks, creative spin on traditional main courses, light and refreshing dessert selections, all enjoyed while seated outdoors in a picturesque setting overlooking the wine country.More

My husband and I found ourselves in California for an extended time. Everything was last minute so on Christmas Day we were trying to find restaurants and lo and behold. I was thrilled to eat here. The Bistro was relaxed perfection. The French 5 was...the best I've ever had and I consider myself a connoisseur. My filet was cooked and seasoned perfectly. My husband's fish was also delightful. The staff was remarkable and we felt so welcomed. We cannot wait to return.More

We stopped in for a late lunch and the place did not disappoint. Its located a bit off the beaten path, but worth the drive for the views alone. The food was excellent along with the service. We didn't have anything prepared by the chef,...but the charcuterie plate was on point. We also had some tasty Oysters!More

Visited here during our 25th anniversary trip to Napa. Sat on the patio (inside closed due to COVID-19) and had the most amazing view of the valley below at sunset. Heaters kept us nice and warm. Service was friendly and the food was excellent. The...dessert with a candle kicked off our celebrations. Thank you.More

This has been one of our favorite places in Napa. Just visited again, so glad we did. The view is as amazing as it has always been, whether we came at lunch or dinner time. The outdoor patio tables overlook the green valley, view is...unbeatable. Service was very friendly and fast, all servers wear masks. Everything we ordered was DELICIOUS! You need to have QR reader on your phone to scan the menu. Would be nice if valet is optional for safety reason, we would be happy to tip the staff regardless.More

A lovely place where we have in the past enjoyed an expensive but good glass of wine and bite to eat on the deck after a day in Napa. I was glad to see they were open last week when we had our first foray...into the outer regions since March. However, fail! We drive up and they are valet parking as if everything has stayed the same, with people stepping out of Porsches and such without so much as a mask. The valet drivers were wearing a mask and were willing to accommodate my request to self-park but really? Should I really have to request that strangers interacting with multiple other strangers and driving their cars not get into my car?More
