Restaurant was very overpriced for the lack of chef expertise. From the appetizer to the main course the food was bland. We expected an experience which we would take back to the East Coast and boast about. Unfortunately this was not the case at all....More

I'm very sorry to learn about your experience at the Restaurant at Auberge du Soleil. I can assure you this is not the norm. Having recently received our 13th consecutive Star rating from the Michelin Guide, Chef Curry and his team have a...More
Went for dinner for my friend’s 40th birthday. Dinner was perfection. I did three courses - burrata with prosciutto, risotto with shrimp, and the beef pave. It was spectacular. The views are unbeatable. I highly recommend a sunset reservation.
For Valentine’s Day we splurged at Auberge du Soleil. The food, presentation, service, house Champagne and desserts were all excellent. Although the price was more than we typically spend, it was WORTH EVERY PENNY. We’ll be back and hopefully next time it will be warm...More
Had an excellent lunch with a rainy-day view of the vineyards. Quail salad was outstanding; and large enough to share as a starter. Sunchoke soup was well prepared though a little lacking in flavor. The butternut squash ravioli was probably the best version of that...More

Had lunch at the Bistro area, and the only good thing of it was the view from the terrace. The food is below average. One of the dishes we had that needs most of improvement was the pasta dish. The noodle was over cooked, the...More

We had to wait a few minutes for our reserved table on the patio so we popped into the bar and it was not very busy. We were there at 2pm and granted it was May...not July...So I think the time of year will make things different. I would call and try to get a table on the patio at the restaurant. You will not be disappointed and you can get the second seating so timing might be better for you. Call, don't use OpenTable as people are always revising reservations and you may be able to get a table when opentable says the restaurant does not have availability.
