I have had the steaks, prime rib, carne asada, grilled salmon salad, and bombshells. I have not been disappointed yet. Well rounded menu. Something for everyone, including kids. I am not a bloody mary guy, but they make their own mix and wow are those...good! I mentioned the bloody marys to other people and they already knew. How did I not know this? Bottom line: The prices are reasonable, the service is great. The food is great. It is a perfect place to stop to break up the drive. Highly recommended.More

Surprisingly good food and very friendly service. This is an inexpensive place with home quality food and it’s open on Sunday evening. I wish we have more places like this around the mountains.

I have never been to this area before and was passing through with my family when we spotted Blondie’s. At first I thought, oh it probably won’t be the greatest in this little town. Boy was I wrong! They had a huge selection of foods...and I had a hard time deciding what to get because it all sounded so good! Everything we got was delicious! So glad we stopped!More

A couple of weeks ago I went to a restaurant and couldn’t decide what I wanted because nothing on the menu looked good. This place was the total opposite everything looked so good I had to close my eyes and point and that’s what I...ended up having.the chef is really nice and friendly but be prepared to wait the staff is kind of slow slow and give priority to locals over new customers, not first come first serve.More

We spent an enjoyable two hours drinking house white wine at Blondies Grille & Bar near Big Bear in California. ‘Blondie’ herself was entertaining and hugely chatty and hospitable. Terrific, and each bottle of wine was only $18. Do go there!

Simple, good food in traditional diner. Excellent burgers and friendly service (and locals). I will definitely come back when I'm in the area.

Looks are deceiving. Thought it would be the typical dinner...burgers and fries with a beer thrown in. But no! Great menu and food came out perfect. We split the two 6oz. filet dinner and it was ample. Large baked potato and green beans. We added...and upgraded to a Pomodora salad each... fantastic. Didn't try dessert...no room. Not a fancy place, but you will not be disappointed with the food. Just be careful entering and exiting the parking area!More

This is a great place. We had “the killer omelet” and asked for it without the gravy. Delicious. Generous portions and wonderful friendly staff. Bloody Mary and Mimosa for Sunday morning. The BEST is their biscuits. Light and fluffy. Probably the best I’ve ever had...in a restaurant and gravy was excellent. See you next time.More
