Paul Martin's is a good place for an intimate dinner, a special occasion, a meal with friends or just cocktails. Very relaxing and overall good American cuisine.

Late afternoon stop for a few drinks - martinis to be exact. Wasn't sure what I wanted and bar tender/waitress created some for us. Excellent!

Really good Happy Hour. It's a good bar scene and sometimes eating at the bar tables is fun. Many meals there have been exceptional...great filet mignon and meats. A couple of times have been just OK for lunch. Décor again just ok,

The Bad - Went here on a Monday night (5:30 pm) and didn't realize this place was so popular. I was told a 30 minute wait and it ended up 50 minutes. The GOOD! - Free appetizer and an apology for the extended wait. The food was very good and the service was excellent. Overall the food exceeded my expectations... More

I thought the food was good -- had grilled salmon tacos but the sauce was mild. I spiced it up with Sriracha. Wines by the glass were fine and large pour. I'd eat here again if I was in the area.

Very much enjoyed the service. The bar team was really excellent. My entree size salad, at $22 with the steak was not a satisfying portion. I would expect a much larger salad for the price.

Had dinner here on a Friday night. The whole complex was really busy. Definitely would suggest a reservation during peak times. Had the Blackened Ribeye which was excellently prepared. They have a full selection of drinks and the apple crisp dessert was wonderful.

The menu at Paul Martin’s consists of dishes aimed at taking diners back to the American farm with meat raised in a humane and wholesome way, locally sourced organic produce, fish from conscientious fishmongers, artisan cheeses and cured meats from small local purveyors and custom-made bread from expert bakers. The California-centric wine list twists and turns, by glass or bottle, through the Golden State’s fruitful vineyards, with an occasional stop for an Oregon Pinot Gris or a Washington dry Riesling. And behind Paul Martin’s elegantly rustic bar is an interesting array of local craft beer and spirited cocktails with fresh garnishes. Good times and thoughtful food are a way of life at Paul Martin’s local, American Bistro.
