Our Cattleman's near Reno closed several years ago and we have been wanting to stop by this one for a few years. We were traveling to the Bay Area from Reno and decided to stop in. We had been there before and it was excellent. This time did not disappoint at all. It was a Friday night and we did... More

Cattlemen's has been around forever and maybe that is part of the problem. We had reservations but still had about a 20 minute wait. That is understandable, they don't know how long someone is going to linger over their dinner. My husband and my two 30 something sons were with me for a family meal. My sons enjoyed their cocktails... More

Glad I found this chain of steakhouses in Northern California! This location is just past Sacramento, and also convenient when coming from the Sierra Nevada. Totally love the selection of steaks and ribs, not to mention the all you can eat salad and bread, especially with a big group. I tend to have the beef rib rack or ribeye (bone... More

I had the filet with a baked potato and salad. Great flavor and feels like a non-chain restaurant. Pricing is fair and the service is good overall. Quite busy for a Monday night which is a good sign. Recommended.

Found this restaurant by making a wrong turn. My server was Jake and he was awesome. He was able to predict anything I needed. The restaurant was very busy but he was excellent at checking back to make sure I had everything I needed. I ordered the Cowboy with a baked patato. The steak was very tender, tasty, and cooked... We've enjoyed dinner at the Roseville Cattlemen's (and Folsom, too) many times. Our meals are always excellent. The huge shared salad bowl loaded with fresh vegetables, the beautiful baked potatoes slathered in sour cream and butter, the small but adequate "pot" of beans, which are delicious, are all just perfect, every time. Oh yeah... the steak... we generally each order... More

Had a wonderful meal here. Most nights they run specials that are the same each week on the same nights. The steaks were good along with the sides of salad which you can order more if you would like, same for the beans and wonderful bread. Wine was OK nothing special but I didn't pay extra for it as it... More

This was the latest visit to Cattlemen's. It is a great place for the family and they are welcoming for children. Their steaks are of good consistent quality and always cooked exactly how you request. While they use Harris Ranch beef, sometimes it doesn't taste the freshest. This time, the prime rib was very good. The main disappointment for me... More

Have eaten here many times and the steaks have always been great. This time we both ordered prime rib. The meat was not prime (maybe select or choice cut) and not great and there was a salty crust...avoid this pricey entry. The baked potato was cold and overcooked. The blue cheese salad dressing was probably out of a bottle and... More
