I stopped in the restaurant as it was across the parking lot from my hotel. What a great find! I love the interior design, filled with old photos of Tahoe and with the feel of a an old chalet.

Went to Tahoe Joe's with my daughter. She had the ribs and really enjoyed them. I tried the Prime rib and thought it was a little flat. My daughter thought it tasted fine so I guess it's a matter of taste. Service was excellent and they didn't try to upsell which I always appreciate.

Love their chicken salad with champagne dressing. My husband had the prime rib which he would gladly order again. Tasty clam chowder is the Friday soup of the day.

I like this place for the reasons in the title. A Friday night go-to place. Just to relax and unwind. Coupled with yummy food and drinks. Servers are awesome.

The restaurant meets expectations with nothing great but nothing bad. Friendly and courteous service. We had the fish and chips and mushroom burgers. Both were tasty and good. No complaints but just not the type of place that warrants more than three stars. Good for lunch, family dinner, would not go there for a special occasion or business meal.

We love Tahoe Joes! The ambience os our Lake Tahoe away from Lake Tahoe. The service is always good and the bar is friendly. We like the ribs, roasted chicken and love the salmon. Very nice dinners!

Stopped here for dinner with a colleague, had a decent meal and don't really have any complaints but I wouldn't rave about it either. The decor is very western, log cabin style with taxidermy heads, canoes and oversized lamps. The wine list is very limited and not very notable which seems odd to me for a "famous" steakhouse. When I... More

Love the interior design of this place. Service was second to none. I had the rib and shrimp plate. Taste was great but back east ribs are cooked to 'fall off the bone'. Had to do a little sawing action on these. That does not take away from the flavor. Place was very busy for a Monday night.

A great dinner with business contacts during my visit to Sacramento. The service was fantastic and a great choice of food and drinks. The aged Tahoe Joes steak was amazing and highly recommended. Great restaurant if visiting Sacramento and I look forward to returning.
