I haven’t been to this cafe since Fall of 2018, and as Darren was the kind owner of the establishment at that time. Now, early December 2019 I have come back to the cafe and many elements of Back to the Grind are no longer...More

My husband and I met another couple here on our way from Orange County to Phoenix. When traveling we like to stop at unique spots opposed to chains. Service is slow as mentioned by other reviewers but that was not a problem for us. The...More

Free WiFi...plenty of nice seating options..tables..easy chairs. Also serve simple food items sandwiches...back patio for smokers too. It's cash only...which is kind of stupid in this day and age. Parking can be a challenge and of course it's all metered psy parking.

First, they have great coffee! The place allows a lot of atmosphere. Library style large room for lounging, reading or visiting. Downstairs there is a basement for bands to perform sometimes. Food is good just not a lot of it!

Good spot to work, study, or have a coffee date. Books all over the back wall, vibe-y, and lots of places to sit. They have a downstairs area for events like open mics or performances as well, although I haven't attended one yet.

This is a really funky place. There is a big seating area as you walk in, a small performance space downstairs, and more seating areas out back and upstairs. Some nights there are performances downstairs. They offer lots of coffee and food options and even...More

I visited this place for the first time very recently, I enjoyed a hazelnut chocolate coffee which was delicious, as were the tea and espresso my friends had, but this place is way more than coffee, all the artists of the area meet here, this...More
