I live in Redwood City so I have a wide array of Mexican food to choose from. Milagros is what I pick if I want something a bit more "high class" than the traditional taqueria. I love the Enchilada Suizas and their fajitas are great too! My family normally gets take-out via orderahead but every time we have sat down... More

Stopped for lunch and ended up eating two buckets of chips and salsa. We both took two each soft tacos; mine was the breaded shrimp taco, which was really good but on the small size, and the fish taco - unfortunately the fish was unseasoned and didn`t taste much of anything. My husband took the beef and the chicken tacos... More

We went off the beaten path on our way to our hotel after landing in San Jose. We read the reviews and they were spot on. We sat outside and had delicious salsas, homemade guacamole and tequilla. We both had tacos...my husband had beef and chicken and I had the fish tacos. All food was outstanding and wish we had... More

Enjoyed sitting at the high tops in the bar and having an assortment of appetizers and margies by the pitcher for our large group. They have a creative twist on many dishes like Yucca fries, edamame with spices, freshly made guac, mole lettuce wraps and all the traditional favorites you expect to find.

We've eaten at Milagros several times over the last decade and previously found it to be a good mid-level place for healthy Mexican food. This time the food was as we remembered, but the tablecloth had rice scattered all over it from the preceding customers and the water glasses were inadequately cleaned. We tried to grab the water glasses from... More

I went during peak dinner hours without a reservation. They had a table and seated me quickly. The whole place seemed full, so reservations are probably a good idea. I ordered the heirloom tomatoes appetizer, which was full of possibly the best tomatoes I've ever had. The chicken tortilla soup was tasty. I was already full when the Carnitas Nortenas... More

Bicycled in on a hot Labor Day Monday afternoon and were able to relax outside under an umbrella. The plantains appetizer was a pleasant surprise and the Carnitas Nortenas and Shrimp Quesadilla were as satisfying as usual.

Although we went as couples this is definitely a family friendly restaurant. If you get there during happy hour 3-5 M-F, order the sampler it's a very good portion and comes with a pitcher of Margaritas for $35. We ordered but not during happy hour and it was double in price. More than enough for my husband and I. Their... More
