About

The Slip is a casual pub located on the International Boardwalk at the Redondo Beach Pier. We believe food at a bar doesn't have to taste like bar food. Our menu is a collection ranging from decadent tasting burgers to vegan salads. We have a wide selection of craft beers, a full liquor bar, and some wine. We're happy to try to find your favorite team's game on one of our many TVs. Kids are welcome too.

Great Happy Hour

The day we arrived in the area was past lunch and needed a quick bite. Stopped here and was not disappointed. They had a great Happy Hour, we got 2 sliders and small pizza for $5 each. 1/2 order of fries was also $5 and hit the spot. My husband loved the beer selection; some are not on HH but good options. Right on the pier so great view too.

This place doesn't look much from the outside, but we really enjoyed our evening here. The bar staff were excellent, friendly and attentive. At one point, the waitress noticed I wasn't really enjoying the beer I had ordered, she insisted on replacing it with a different one that I would like, at no extra charge. They have an excellent selection of craft beers - probably my only suggestion would be to have a beer menu at the table (preferably with tasting notes, to avoid being caught out by an odd-ball beer like I was) to make ordering easier, as it can be hard to see the menus above the bar area. The food was good and really good value during Happy Hour. Would definitely go back!

When in Redondo we alway end up in the Slip Bar. It is much better than it may appear from outside and the food is pretty good. There is always a great atmosphere and decent service with a mix of locals and tourists.

Who can pass up $7 Burger Wednesdays

If you're looking for a good ol' fashioned American Bar, where the Barmaid is friendly, and the locals hangout, a good selection of beers on tap, and a decent burger, then this is the place. After walking from Manhattan Beach to Redondo, arriving about 11:00am, it was time for a beer, and where better. There are a great collection of bars hidden away under the boardwalk that are easily missed, and The Slip Bar is one of them. You can sit beside the window and look out at the marina, enjoy the the food, and beverages, and watch the world go by. It is definitely a Bar I'd return to, that and King Harbor, two of the best bars along the coast to just hang out at. Had we not have to head back to pick up my friends daughter from school we could easily have been there till the sun set.

Great bar, live music and food

Huge selections of beer in tap and bottle. Goos duo playing and singing on a sunday night, good sports bar with multiple Tvs and finally, really good burgers well prepared and served with huge fresh green salad. French fries available for additional $2. Its loud but friendly

We were really pleased to have chosen this great establishment from the many eateries and pubs around Redondo Beach. It is a gem of a place with brilliant staff, great food and drink at very reasonable prices in a fantastic location. The menu which includes many healthy options, would surely please even the lost selective of diners while there was a wide variety of beers, wines and cocktails to choose from. Looking at the entertainment for the week there appeared to be plenty to please every night and I would hope that this superb pub thrives in the future as I will certainly make an effort to return if I am fortunate to find myself in the area again.

Outstanding place to get away from the crowd

I was in the area for work with a small team. We found The Slip Bar walking around. It wasn't that crowded but also wasn't empty. The bartenders were super friendly and were a blast to talk too. They recommend some great beers and stuff from the menu. The burgers were really good and the cost was very reasonable. Overall a great place to spend a few hours at the end of the day!!

The Slip. Good food and friendly Staff

The view from Redondo pier is spectacular at sunset and a great place to see it is the Slip bar and eatery. Surprisingly good food and lots of beer on tap. It’s a great place to watch the game or just chill after a day at the beach. Highly recommend their outlaw burger, but all the food is vert tasty.

Almost Kale salad...Yum!

If you don't enjoy salad, you have to try this one. it is healthy and taste good too. i would add Chicken and Avocado. a bit more expensive but worth every penny.

My wife and I like Monday's the best when they have karaoke! We have several karaoke buddies who usually join us too...in addition to the fun the food is incredible and they have IPA beers (my fav)! They have lots of other activities during the week as well...enjoy your visit :)

Gem On The Beach..!!!!

I'm REALLY mad..!!!! My wife and I discovered The Slip Bar on our last day in California. We sat and had a drink saying how much we wished we discovered this place the day before so we could have enjoyed a night out here. The Slip Bar is the PERFECT place to have a drink while at the pier in Redondo Beach. It makes me more mad when I read all the great reviews on the food. We'll be back..!!!! Don't make the same mistake we did. Make it a point to visit The Slip Bar..!!!!
