Breakfast here is always a good choice. However, sometimes service can be a bit spotty. On this visit, the waitress asked me three different times to repeat my order: once when she was in front of me, once when she was entering it into the order system, and again when she was standing in front of the kitchen pickup counter.... Stopped in for Breakfast with my girlfriend and her kids. Good selection of breakfast items. We split the Eggs Benedict. Kids had pancakes, waffles, and eggs. Reasonably priced.

The menu here has Greek, Mexican, and deli choices, in addition to their daily menu of American breakfast, lunch and dinner items. Try the hot fudge sundae! It's a winner. The prices are a bit above-other coffee shops, but there aren't many places around anymore where you can get such diverse food items and breakfast all day.

I come here to get my diner comfort-food experience. The decor is definitely Greek-Canadian-hockey them. I love that it feels warm with a family pride and feel. It is clean with a bar and TV monitors with a variety of games especially hockey. I see families as well as couples and is close to the beach for a short drive... More

I have eaten here frequently (mainly breakfast) for the past couple of years and have never been disappointed. This is a cafe that fits perfectly with the "Cheers" sitcom theme song "Where everybody knows your name, and they're always glad you came". The venue and the menu are completely unpretentious. The ingredients are high quality, the food is always delicious,... More

This is the former Wooden Shoe. Still the Greek specialties but not the Greek goodness. There are still the Greek options on the menu but not really Greek food; Medicore at best

Went there today, Memorial Day and had an enjoyable time. This was the only café in the entire South Bay that didn't have a line out the door when we got there. Though they were packed, the manager kept assuring us of seating, which we got in under 10 minutes. Wasn't expecting to be seated so quickly. Waitress lacked a... More

We went for a late breakfast and loved the the look of a true cafe. The service was friendly and quick! The menu both for breakfast and lunch has a wide choice from Greek to Canadian and of course American! Even had a buffalo patty for breakfast. I would go again!

any time I visit SoCal I make it a point to eat here. Everything is delicious and the service is so friendly. The huevos rancheros is served on top of home fries and I eat like a glutton. Always look forward to my next visit.

During our visit we were given a tour by the owner. Loved the atmosphere and the poutine! Super great place. The staff makes you feel at home.
