Happy Hour pricing is reasonable. Got out the door for $100 for 5 people including drinks, appetizers and main courses. Food was very good. The garlic noodles were the best. Regular menu pricing looked a bit expensive.

W's is back to full capacity and we wanted Chinese! The last time we tried W's was with restricted capacity, and the place was busy with a 2 hour wait! (So we ate elsewhere that night) This time we had a 5:30 reservation which, much...to our delight, was prior to the end of Happy Hour. We ordered off the Happy Hour menu and enjoyed 3 app's and 2 entrees. The app's were at very reasonable prices (so we actually ordered 3 app's for the 2 of us to share), as were the 2 entrees ($9 each). Although the portions were slightly smaller, it was more than enough at out age. We even had leftovers that we took home and enjoyed the next night. The place got very busy while we ate but the service was excellent! EnjoyMore
This restaurant has been here for ages, and it’s always an enjoyable time. The atmosphere is pleasant, and the food is always good. Portions are moderate, and the flavor is not overly salty. It’s a good standby.
There is a reason why this place has been here as long as it has. That's because their food never disappoints. We have tried everything and they have never gone wrong. The other restaurants need to learn from them because they must be doing something...right. Even dining in this place is just an experience that you will always enjoy. The bar atmosphere is lively, the restaurant is lively, but if you want a quiet atmosphere, I don't know if this is for you. We will always return, it's definitely a local gem, and a must try.More
this is a busy, noisy place.....and it has the classics, but nothing special that you would return for......
Very good food and service. Stopped in for happy hour on a Sunday afternoon. Very nice selection of reduced menu items were available. Food was very well prepared as well as the cocktails. Comfortable atmosphere and good service.
Wonderfully prepared Chinese food. The garlic noodles should not be missed. Chicken and pea pods another winner. Have not had a meal we have not thoroughly enjoyed.. a vey nice bar and very friendly staff
We had take out with some friends on a Sunday night whilst on holiday in LA. The service was quick and friendly and the food excellent. Good large sharing portions. I was surprised to see the restaurant packed on a Sunday night so clearly this...place has a good reputation.More
Their Zen Hours are outstanding with delicious, generous amounts of Zen eats and drinks - you gotta try it. We had a very pleasant dining experience and the wait staff were excellent. They have a nice parking lot in the back with Valet parking. I...don't think you'll be disappointed.More
This is hands down the best Happy Hour in Redondo Beach! The food is consistently delicious, and the service is always great.
Wonton and egg drop soup good. Spring roll was good. Kang pao was bad. Tasted like bbq sauce ugh. Turns out the sauce is shipped for another restaurant. Please rethink the recipe. We sent it back. Orange chicken good minus the sauce. Lo mein okay.
I suggested W's to my wife as I wanted to take her out to a nice place for Valentine's Day, and not a big-name place with a special, very expensive fixed menu! W's fit the bill as they were using their regular menu. We ordered...two dishes to split, Pineapple Chicken and Mooshu Pork. I ordered the Fried Rice with mine and the wife ordered the Steamed Veggies. Everything was very tasty and I was a bit surprised that we had to assemble the Mooshu (most other places I've ordered it, it would either come assembled, or they would assemble it at your table). Our server came by several times during the meal and the manager even stopped by to see that we were well taken care of. It had been several years since we had eaten there and I doubt that we'll wait that long to return. Enjoy!More
We miss China Grill in Manhattan Beach and decided to end the year at the sister restaurant with dinner at W's China Bistro. A very, very warm welcome. Good food and the perfect mother son dinner as we said goodbye to 2018 and look forward...to the New Year. Cheers to 2019! (The Calamari was excellent!)More
I went with a friend on Tuesday evening and the restaurant was full. So that , I could understand why ... their food is great! I suggest you to start with the lettuce and chicken as starter and get the Mongolian beef as main dish....The portion can be shared. Service was very good also.More
I was hoping for some good Chinese food, but instead got watered down western food. Kung Po Chicken was boring, I had to add tons of red spice sauce. We had Spicy Shrimp too, not sure where the spices were, shrimp was good, but more...like an appetizer than a dinner dish, it had veggies' under the shrimp but not really a fluid plate. Expensive too. Go somewhere elseMore
