I have been going to this place for years and there has been huge improvements made here. The decor is still dated, and it looks like a dive bar but the drinks here have greatly improved. There is now multiple beers on tap (rotating tap...also) and the food is amazing. They even work with special diets. Taco Tuesday is amazing and the different nightly specials are always good. They also added tater tots that are delicious. Can’t recommend this spot enough, one of the best bars in Redlands.More

Been to Taylor's 3 times in the past couple months to eat. The first 2 were mediocre, taco Tuesday was bad, not even able to finish my tacos. Today we went and my gf ordered onion rings that came out burnt. They were replaced and...she ordered the steak and baked potato, I ordered the hamburger figuring they couldn't screw that up. Well... they did! Hamburger was over cooked and dry after I asked for mayo. Her bread was way overcooked. And to top it off, the place wasn't busy, but still took over 30 min to get our food. We told the waitress and head cook of all the problems and while they apologized, I was actually rather shocked when we were still charged full price for everything even though less than half was eaten because of the "new cook".. We will not be returning ever.. Sad because it is a local business... sadly, it is "taylor trash".....More

This place is the opposite of trendy. For me, that is a good thing. I grew up in joints like this, with old-fashioned comfort foods on the menus, pool tables in the back, and service with big genuine smiles. Thursdays have baby back ribs as...a special, so I tried them. They were absolutely perfect, with tangy sauce and the meat falling off the bone. There's something for everyone on the menu, from steaks and burgers to salads, fish dishes, and Mexican food. The drinks are fine as well. Most of all, there's just a warm sort of historical feeling to the room and prices are good. We will definitely be back. It absolutely isn't a high-concept pretentious place, but it's clean and the staff are all super-friendly - and you won't go away hungry or thirsty.More

My daughter and I stopped by for a beer and lunch while in town, happened to see it as we drove by....been around since 1934. What a nice surprise....a fairly large place, very clean with great service, a nice selection of craft beers (many California...small breweries), a nice menu which includes daily specials. We have been here three times since (while visiting my dad at rehab next door). The food is wonderful and was a nice surprise - although much is your typical bar food, it tastes great, plus they have many other options such as my New York Steak lunch which included a large salad, choice of potato & garlic bread for only $10 - cooked perfectly, juicy and tender. My daughters Murphy Burger with choice of fries, onion rings or tater tots....the burger looked almost an inch thick and was juicy and full of flavor with bacon and cheese. Next time we went I had the BLT - lots of bacon and beautiful rye bread, my daughter had the ribs - Rib Thursday...4 large baby backs, salad, choice of potato and garlic bread - $6 - the ribs were great! Third time by we shared a Club Sandwich - once again it was made very well - lots of fillings and wondrful bread. They have a Taco Tuesday - $1 tacos, we haven't been, but when you drive by there is almost no parking for that - need to try it. You must be 21 to walk thru the door, so understand no kids allowed. Try the Slo Brew Blood Orange beer on tap & the Deadpan Pils - both great beersMore

This place is a throwback to a cooler day ... If I was a biker or a Cowboy I would come here every day ... Their drinks are well-poured if you know what I mean! Food is good and ample portions and etc. no music...but there a jukebox. Lots of Barflys. Have fun!More

Hubby and I met up another couple for drinks and when we first arrived there were no seats at the bar. We ended up on a table and the waitress was quick and friendly. Beer was cold and we decided to have dinner since others...seemed to enjoy theirs. I ordered the beef dip and my hubby the steak. we were both surprised to enjoy our food since we don't usually order food from a bar. The bar started filling up as it got later and we realized it was for karaoke. We were lucky to already be sitting since the place got packed! The karaoke was so entertaining and fun. Definitely going back.More

Not sure I would call this a cocktail lounge its unique I think the owner calls it a bar and grill now and must be experienced to understand. Taylors has been at this location longer than most people can remember, it is one of the...oldest / longest occupied areas of San Bernardino County and is a few hundred feet from the Barton House, the Astancia on the southwest boundary of the City of Redlands. Or on the boundary of the old Lugo land grant, if you prefer. It can be found on the southwest corner of San Timoteo Canyon (Road) and Barton. It is open until 2am and children are not allowed. Must be 21 to enter. The steaks are popular, and they have a hot dog special night. Thursdays are rib nights. The people are friendly, the food is inexpensive and the place is come as you are - after work is ok and park in the dirt if the parking lot is full. Come and enjoy the experience of old (depression era) Redlands. You may like it.More
