Local food served at this restaurants. Food comes from local producers. Good place for a special meal. Portions are not large but delicious. Service is good. I like the atmosphere.

Great menu and lively atmosphere makes this one of the best restaurants in Redding. We just went there and I had the fish tacos. They were excellent and the presentation was awesome. If you are fish taco connoisseur like me then these are must try. Place gets busy so call ahead for reservations, if you can.

I've been here several times and usually have the fish tacos as I can't imagine anything else but have tried their soups. Menu is limited but everything on the menu is fresh and imaginative. They have wonderful choices of wine and always my favorite Sauvignon Blanc by the glass. Service is excellent. My favorite eating place in Redding. Restaurant is... More

The menu is not static, constantly changing. The food is farm fresh and cooked perfectly. The service is excellent, but not overbearing. Always take out of town guests there.

We've been here before, but it's been a year or so. We had a reservation, but still had to wait a bit. We were seated outside (as requested) and the wether was perfect for a evening at Moonstone. I had the Steal Head and discovered later that the fish was actually line caught salmon from Alaska. A past employee became... More

I understand if you are in between shifts but please do not offer happy hour during those times. Bartender took our order than forgot about it...than a regular at the bar asked him for another drink and he walked right in front of us(we were at the bar) and poured her drink, I asked abut our drinks and he finally... Only had one meal here, but it sure was a good one. Loved their fish taco and then had a virgin drink for dessert. The ambiance and decor isn't my cup - but the service is friendly and professional and I like seeing the chefs at work. Also love that there are gluten free options.
