Cute small local spot. Decent menu , staff chatty and friendly. Food is good with many choices. Opens early and prices are decent. Kind more like a neighborhood cafe than anything else. I liked it and considered my money well spent.

We frequent Country Waffles at least twice a month for breakfast and have never been disappointed. The food is home cooked fare and always hot and delicious. Melissa is usually our server and always bubbly and helpful. The chicken florentine crepes are on the lunch...menu, but they will serve them with a side of hashbrowns instead of the mashed. Good food and plenty of it. It is only open for breakfast and Lunch. Very popular with locals. It is my wife's favorite place for breakfast.

I haven't been here in years, so decided to give it a try, since I was in the area. It was almost lunchtime but I decided on their chicken fried steak breakfast. It came with three eggs and the choice of hash browns or country...fried potatoes. I chose the hash browns, which were perfect. The chicken fried steak was flavorful and tender enough to cut with my fork. To my surprise, half a waffle came with it too. The service was excellent on this weekday. The next time, I'll take my wife as they had several omelette options she would like.More

me and my husband are here right now and its a warm welcoming place. alot in part to our awesome server melissa. when the food came the portions were huge!! i had the mexi cali omelette and hubby had the garden omelette. both were fantastic!...my only complaint (if you can call it that) is i couldn't finish it all. two big thumbs up to this place. i would come here again if im in redding again.More

I love Country Waffles, however, this location failed for me...the waffle was a little tough and chewy...not what I usually expect from this chain. This restaurant is a little off the main thoroughfare in Redding so it was a nice quiet location...not crowded like so...many in this chain are. My wife had eggs and potatoes which were delicious for her.More

Our daughters birthday and she wanted bacon and eggs and lots of it. Couldn't have gone a better place... The waitress was so friendly, funny and effective. When she heard it was our daughters birthday, she gathered all the waitresses and they came over with...a cake and sang birthday song. More important though, the breakfast ranging from pancakes to yoghurt with granola and fruit was delicious and well made.More

I visited for lunch and was quickly seated and served while I waited for my companion to join me. The service was quick and cheerful, bringing a chef's salad and a chile verde burrito, both of which were well made and tasty. This restaurant isn't...doing anything new or exciting, but it's certainly reliable, and that's worth something.More

I have always had good service here... The food is hit and miss, it all depends on who's cooking.. i enjoy the sausage patty breakfast... i have had there Club sandwich as well.

sausage and eggs tasted average but was not much there...was still feeling hungry...the wheat toast did not taste good and the iced water was awful...a goodlooking waitress/cashier to admire was the only positive experience to mention in that establishment...

You can't go wrong by visiting Country Waffles. They specialize in waffles, of course, but you would not go wrong by trying one of their different styles of omelets. The coffee is always hot and the help always has a smile on their faces.

Wide selection of menu items and the food is all good. Service is top level and the ladies make you feel welcome.
