We stopped in on our way to Oregon. The server could not have been more kind or attentive. This was a solid basic meal. We loved the garlic toast which harkened back to our childhood, thick with just the right amount of garlic butter. The salads were fresh and the blue cheese dressing was delicious. I really thought the onion rings... More

If you are looking for great steaks in Red Bluff, look no farther. We stopped in Red Bluff after touring Mt Lassen and did not expect such a good restaurant in a small town. I had the Filet Mignon and my wife had the Petite Steak. Not a fancy restaurant but the food was great.

Great food and service. We were met by our excellent server. Lovely dinner, would eat here again if I was in the area.

This place needs a serious face life and brought into the 21st century. Meal was terrible. Shrimp was pea size frozen and they served Texas toast for bread. Yuk, yuk yuk. A would not recommend this at all.

Four of us feasted at The Green Barn after traversing Mt Lassen. Very, very good meal and top service from a very friendly and efficient lady server. Succulent steak, excellent burger and tasty trimmings plus good Sierra Nevada beer. What more can you ask for?

Dark interior but very comfy, this restaurant was an excellent choice for dinner. While it is billed as a steakhouse, the menu is varied. I enjoyed a large delicious salad (took half with me) and my husband really liked this steak sandwich and hot French fries. Well priced and good service. Very enjoyable!

In prosaic Red Bluff, a singular restaurant stands out. Plain on the outside, the interior is very fine and elegant. I looked for people in suits and evening wear, but luckily, they were casually dressed as befits a small cattle town. I had a "small" prime rib, done perfectly, with delicious home-made bread. Pre-dinner salad was good. I did not... More

Nice decor, good service, and tasty dinner. Our medium rare steaks were a few degrees beyond but still acceptable. I chose the baked potato as a side because the vegetable option waas frozen veges. We enjoyed a very reasonably priced glass of wine, but the wine glasses were abysmal. They were the thickness of Coke bottle glass!! Surely there is... More

The Green Barn was recommended by our hotel for our anniversary. It was on a corner on a main road, Easy to find and park. Walk through the patio and you are in the best of the old fashioned restaurants with the dark wood and comfy booths. We arrived at 5:30 and the place was packed by the time we... More
