We came back here to order my birthday dinner and take it home, and I'm happy it was still delicious! I miss eating in and the warm greeting we always got from Ginger as soon as we walked in, but we were still greeted warmly...by the gentleman who brought out our food, and we appreciated that he was very conscientious about social distancing and being safe during the process. Memorable!More

Popular place, w/ every other table occupied the midweek night we went. A significant portion of my seared ahi steak was inedible due to sinew; and it plus the stir-fried veggies it sat on were swimming in far too much soy sauce. Prices above average,...but good service. This was my first visit to Shame on The Moon and though disappointed in my ahi, I'd give it another try.More

We ate here our first night in Palm Springs and found the restaurant to be dark and dated. The veal meatloaf was good and the mushroom ravioli just okay. I would go back again if I could not get a table at Wally’s Desert Turtle...which was much better for both food and ambienceMore

I have been going to Shame on the Moon for quite some time. Each time I have gone I have not been disappointed. They "bend over backwards" to make your experience a terrific one. This time we took guests from the Mid West. They loved...it. Our waiter (sorry I don't remember his name, but I will never forget the GREAT SERVICE), was amazing and accommodating. I had the baby back ribs... at the urging of "what's his name"... wonderful. the drinks were generous. When in the area, check em out. You won't be disappointed.More

We had a 7:00 clock reservation. Then changed it to 7:0 to accommodate our group. Then when plans changed, our 7:00 table was gone. Funny our friends came early and were seated at 7:00. We had a table in the corner. Loud people were near...us, wanted to tell the lady screaming to be quiet. Good was delicious. Salmon was tasty. Others had shrimp scampi. This is a fun place. Not crowded, just noisy.More

This is a very good restaurant, similar to the old east coast and mid west supper clubs, great ambiance, great service, BUT....if you have a large group and want separate checks, it’s a big NO! Creates a very difficult situation for customers having to decipher...and recalculate the Check. Go as a couple, not as a group.More

The food was mediocre and was pricey for the quality. The service was extremely slow for an uncrowded restaurant. As mentioned in other reviews there was a strange smell in the restaurant.

Went here when I first moved from NYC to the desert. My dear friend Carol Channing asked me to join her and her friends, and, it was great fun. Being with Ms. Channing was a joy. Last night I had a very different experience, and...it was ONLY because we were joining another couple. Shouldn’t be a problem, right? Apparently, Shame, shame won’t separate the bills. A bizarre and awkward situation when one couple orders much more than the other couple. Never been a problem at ANY fine dining experiences I have had worldwide. Much less at fabulous restaurants here in the desert. So, I will take my business elsewhere...Wally’s, Le Vallauris, Maestros, Ruth’s Chris. And, that is a Shame, Mr. Moon...and I do not mean our former Mayor Moon.More

I went to the Shame on the Moon based on a recommendation by a good friend. The food and service were very good. It is a smaller size restaurant and very cozy. The only negative was the high noise levels. You clearly need reservations for...this restaurant. I will plan on going here again.More
