This is a place where they do try to get it right. We came in at 7pm and the place was packed. The service was slow but steady and all of the food was really tasty. Chocolate Souffle for Desert was perfect with the molten chocolate running from the pastry. Wow! No one does it better than Roy's!

We ate here twice on our stay in Palm Desert. The first night was Ventine's. They had a special menu but limited selections. The second night was the usual menu. We preferred the usual menu as it had more of the menu items that were our choices. The food is always good and look forward to the soufflé at the... More

My family and I are frequent customers at this restaurant, however the meal we had today for my Mom's birthday was so appalling we will not be returning ANYTIME soon! The disaster started when with every course something was forgotten. Drinks, side dishes, and even the fact that we were celebrating a birthday. However, that was still somewhat acceptable until... Everything went wrong.... The birthday Dinner was reserved 4 days before.... Nothing was prepared. They had forgotten it. Then for every course they forgot something.... drinks, side dish, coffee and best of all, they sat us next to a group of drunk old guys who where screaming all the time. We had to complain twice to them, which they found... More

Came here for dinner to celebrate a dear friend's 50th birthday. Service was fantastic. Our server made great recommendations and we tried them all. To start we had the Lakanilau Roll, lobster pot stickers and the Maui wowie salad. The roll was out of this world. We all loved it. For an entree we decided to share the Misoyaki “Butterfish”.... We took advantage of Roy's on Sunday and Monday evenings. We were there January 29. The restaurant offers a $36.95 three course meal (tax, wine, and tip extra) and you can select any appetizer, entree, and desert. We thought it was going to be a limited special side menu so we were delightfully surprised. The meal and service were excellent.... More

My sister and I grabbed a last minute reservation on OpenTable and had the best server- Chris! Everything he recommended was spot on. We almost licked our plates! Lobster potstickers and mahi mahi and black cod. Chris made the evening so nice. We asked to see the manager to compliment Chris and he dropped of a $20 gift card for... More
