The Sycamore Inn is about 50+ miles from our home, so it is not a place we can just drop by to enjoy. We enjoyed our last anniversary dinner so much that we decided to go again, and happy we did so. We started out...More

This is the oldest restaurant in the area. Serving the public and travelers on the old Route 66 (now Foothill Boulevard) since 1921, the Sycamore Inn sits on the site of the 1848 Mountain View Inn. Known for fine steaks and prime rib, they also...More

Tired interior, way overpriced for mediocre food, wait staff is rude to you if you don’t order a lot of food. Would never return.

I was here for a business happy hour that lasted well into the evening. This place is a great throwback. You look across the bar and expect to see Sinatra sitting there. Prime time food was great and we ordered a chocolate soufflé that was...More

We used to love going to the Sycamore Inn. For years it was a go to for special occasions. For my Bday this year we once again chose to have our celebration at Sycamore Inn. They are pricey for the IE but the service and...More

The Sycamore Inn has an extensive happy hour menu with lots of appetizers, small plates and even some smaller portions of larger entrees that can be found in the main dining room. There is also patio dining for those amazing California evenings. Service is ok....More

This place is a throwback to the ratpack era, old hollywood, and a popular stop heading to palm springs back in the day. We sat in the bar area(candlelit) ordered the cheese plate(perfect) and I had the best red sangria that I have ever had!

Old school steakhouse and an excellent choice for a great piece of beef. Full bar and good wine selection with great happy hour specials - wouldn’t hesitate to return. Service was good and the prime rib was something I’d come back for again. Sat outside...More

This restaurant has been continuously operating since 1848. Was there with a large group and we used the downstairs meeting room. Neat old architecture and styling.

The ambience of the Inn sets the scene for a most enjoyable dining experience. We were made welcome and service throughout our time there was impeccable. After cocktails and tasty starters we had a selection of steaks, rib eye , fillet and prime rib. All...More

I would agree with other comments.....but basically add that I would recommend California casual....shoes, shirt, pants. But you will see all types of attire. I had Dockers and a nice shirt on when I attended.

The restaurant posts from Opening to 8 pm seven days a week. Haven't tried all seven days but I have gone as early as 4 and as late as 7pm

I"d say business casual. If you're eating on the porch, casual attire is more appropriate.
