Some things change very little. This restaurant seems about the same as it did 25 years ago. Pretty much same menu, great value for your dollar and average fairly bland entrees. Bread is excellent, service very good. The place wasn't packed and many large groups were dining.

Service was terrible, took several requests before we received requested items. Took 3 Request for child water, ask for additional bread, came w/o butter, several request later butter arrived. Food quality was fair - I received very little meat sauce on my pasta, received larger portion when I asked for more. Parmesan chicken was acceptable but pasta watery. It was... More

Fast service, a loaf of warm French bread, a salad with good dressing, a plate of hot spaghetti, and a dish of ice cream in a pleasant setting( not necessarily quiet) for $12.50! How can you beat that?

Atmosphere was great, ministroni soup was great, but the spaghetti and my boyfriends fettuchini pasta with chicken was so bland that I never even ate the left overs! There was hardly any chicken or beef in either of our plates even tho we paid extra for it. Staff was friendly enough, i just expected some good spagehtti here. It seems... More

I've been to the OSF several times and I've been disappointed every time. The food is, at the best, only OK. It is incredibly noisy and the service was marginal.

I'm spoiled. San Francisco HAS good Italian restaurants but Sacramento has..... the ambience is interesting former train station, busy facility and spacious. The bar/dining area was a little bit noisy too noisey to just sit back and relax prior to dining. The service was good nice staff but a little rough around the edges..the food was "average" definitely NOT a... More

I haven't eaten here since moving away several years ago. The staff was extremely cheerful, and took care of all our requests. The food was great, the pasta and yummy sauces were as good as I remember.

WE went there with another couple and really enjoyed the food. The shrimp scampi was especially good and everyone said their dishes were great. the bread aloe is tasty, real sourdough, like SF. Go here if you want some delicious Italian food.

Spaghetti Factory is almost always a great meal. Service at this particular restaurant has been difficult in the past but it was better this last time.
