Lots of good things about this place, but wow….service? The good stuff: Friendly, helpful reception Short wait for a table Beautiful garden patio Great wine list & good beer selection including hard cider Well written menu with good descriptions Good selection of items We got: Oysters appetizer (breaded & fried)-they were huge! And tasty! Lamb burger: deelish! With fries that... More

Highly recommended to us, but we are left wondering why. Oysters the size of a dime were $3 each! Food was good, but very expensive. Menu selections were really limited and disappointing. Their highly reviewed mussels in linguine are not even on the menu anymore. Very limited beer selection.

We went to this restaurant for dinner after an eight mile hike. This was our first visit and we were interested in checking it out after watching it on the PBS show Check Please. The ambiance was typical modern dress down dinner belaying its underpinning of a classy eatery.. I wish we could have dined outside which was a fabulous patio/garden... More

After a lovely hike in Point Reyes we stopped in for a casual dinner. Menu is varied and there are good wine and beer selections. Service was friendly. We would recommend the salads (Cobb and Steak salads were good) as well as the grilled oysters and Mac and cheese. Desserts were good as we'll especially the peach cobbler.

Don't let this charming restaurant's ambiance, with it's lovely outdoor garden seating, fool you. The food is awful. My husband and I reserved a table for lunch. He ordered a Reuben Sandwich. It was the absolute worst Reuben we ever tasted. The corned beef was very chewy and extremely fatty. Since Point Reyes is an area where fresh oysters and... More

Many San Francisco-area residents would not consider a visit to West Marin County and the Point Reyes National Seashore area complete without a stop in the Station House Cafe. Modern country decor with standards plus adventuresome fresh, local, and sustainable food and drinks, always served indoors plus outdoors on nice days. We've enjoyed food and drinks there many times, and... More

I've been here 3 times now, twice for dinner and once for lunch. I think lunch is nicer as you can sit in the garden and enjoy the incomparable Pt. Reyes sunshine. Dinners there have been hit or miss, though. Oysters on the half shell served with bread and butter were good enough, the brioche cheese and mushroom sandwich was... More

When traveling the North California Coast, there's a lot to be said for a restaurant with good wifi. The food was delicious, too, and the wait staff attentive. All around great experience.

This busy restaurant has enough seating in and out to accommodate large and small groups. Food is always delicious with meat, seafood and vegetarian options.

Stopped by here for some grub after a 9.6 mile hike at point Reyes. It was packed being a weekend and due to NBA finals. Service was quick. Food was yummy with price point just fine. Music was great. Must try!
