After spending much of the day at Point Reyes National Seashore, we stopped here for a late lunch. I had a bowl of clam chowder. It was served very hot and was full of clams and pieces of bacon. My husband had a huge Reuben sandwich, loaded with pastrami, sauerkraut and melted cheese. The sandwich was serve with a pickle... More

Not sure what all the hype is about regarding this establishment. Had bakers dozen oysters and mousse for lunch, and have had much better of both elsewhere.

Stopped just before noon and within minutes of sitting down the restaurant was full. Good menu so it was hard to decide what to eat but chose the Cobb salad and hubby has the Reuben. Green were fresh and the blue cheese was delicious. Reuben was stacked high and was exactly what hubby expected. Definitely a return visit is in... More

Hello fellow Sojourners - Can I just get a 'yeah buddy'? C'mon! Like you mean it... Yeah buddy!!! That's kind of the feeling I had after having lunch here with 2 of my motorcycling brethren. We all had hamburgers in different stages of done-ness and were all pretty much silenced by the food coma that ensued. Knowing glances exchanged in... More

We stopped here on an afternoon drive up the coast before the big rains came. I have eaten here before but it was many years ago so I thought to try it out. My wife had the Feta Egg Scramble which came with roasted new potatoes. I had the BLT. She enjoyed her meal. The BLT was quite good. Full... More

I wanted to like this place because the gal behind the bar, Sarah, was so accommodating and the nice, appropriately low music was soothing. Sarah washed my new travel mug before filling it with hot tea $3.25. She also brought me a sample of their New England clam chowder which, although tasted clammy, seemed to be thickened with flour rather... More

Wonderful local restaurant, great food and drink. My first restaurant in West Marin, just the beginning of the tour. What food and landscape, really special.

Restaurant was packed at lunch time ( so if you need to make sure you reserve a table ) .. but open seating in the bar. Well looked after by the staff .. couple of nice dishes .. Caesars salad and Calamari. I had stopped in a week earlier when out on bike and had a coffee .. so knew... More

We have had pleasant experiences in previous visits here so we don't know what happened. We expected to wait for a table, but we did not expect to wait an hour and ten minutes after being seated to actually get our entrées. By that time we were so hungry that anything should have tasted good, but unfortunately that's not how... More

Great food, great service, great atmosphere! We have eaten here several times over the years and have never been disappointed. The seafood, in particular oysters ($3 ea ), and mussels ($ 16.95 for a plateful ) were great. Sandwiches such as reuben ( $12.95 ) and BLT ( $11.95 ) were v good. They used to have a spectacular pulled... More
